Delete My Account & Personal Information

What happens when you request deletion:

  • Your account will be disconnected from all bookMyTeam services
  • Your personal information — name, email address, phone number, encrypted password, and payment identifiers — will be permanently removed from our servers
  • bookMyTeam and our divisional sites (groupRooms, bookMyTeam, hotelSlots, hotelHaggle) will retain information not related to personal data — such as booking dates, destinations, room counts, and aggregate analytics — for business and legal record-keeping
  • This retained data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you
  • If a matching account is found, the deletion will be processed within 30 days

If your email is no longer accessible, providing your phone number helps us locate your account.

What Information Is Removed

When your deletion request is processed, the following personal data will be permanently removed from our servers:

  • Identity Data: First name, last name, organization name
  • Contact Data: Email address, phone number, mailing address
  • Account Data: Username, encrypted password, API tokens
  • Payment Identifiers: Stripe customer ID and linked payment references
  • Authentication Data: Session tokens, remember tokens, login IPs

What Information Is Retained

The following non-personal data will be retained by bookMyTeam and our divisional sites for business, analytics, and legal record-keeping purposes. This data is not linked to your identity:

  • Booking dates, check-in/check-out dates, and destination cities
  • Room counts, group sizes, and room type preferences
  • RFP submission metadata (status, response counts, timestamps)
  • Aggregate usage statistics and analytics data
  • Financial records required for tax and legal compliance (with personal identifiers removed)

Processing Timeline

  • Within 48 hours: Your request is reviewed and your account is flagged for deletion
  • Within 7 days: Your account is disconnected and login access is revoked
  • Within 30 days: All personal information is permanently removed from our servers
  • You will receive a confirmation email at the address provided once deletion is complete
