ATD OrgDev runs September 29 to October 1, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The program covers leadership, culture and talent systems inside an organization, and it carries a team registration rate from three attendees. The rooms and the seats run on two different deadlines.

ATD frames OrgDev around five core areas: culture and people, talent strategy and management, strategic business partnership, leadership development programs, and leverage of AI and emerging technologies. The program serves organization development practitioners together with the HR, talent and learning professionals who carry that work alongside another role. Eligible sessions may count toward APTD and CPTD recertification. ATD cites its own research, Leadership Development 2026, reporting that 68 percent of learners reported improved job performance from leadership development.
The two host hotels and the September 3 deadline
ATD holds rooms at two properties, both at $195 per night plus applicable taxes and fees, with the discounted rate available through September 3, 2026 and based on availability.
Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, 1 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204, is connected to the Indiana Convention Center by walking tunnels and sits a short walk from Lucas Oil Stadium. September 3 is the deadline that matters. After it, unclaimed rooms return to general inventory and the conference rate stops applying. Two properties at one rate also means two room lists to reconcile, and the reconciliation work lands on whoever holds the booking.
Hold the rooms under one reference
One reference means one room block, one confirmation number and one cut-off date. bookMyTeam publishes the group rate as available from a block of 10 or more rooms, and the block holds rooms and locks pricing until a cut-off date. After that date, unclaimed rooms return to general inventory. Ask for the cut-off date in writing at the same time you ask for the rate.
One invoice, split afterwards
Two billing structures work, and the difference shows up at checkout. Under the first, each colleague gets an individual folio at the group rate and settles their own room and tax. Under the second, one master folio carries room and tax for the block, and each individual folio carries incidentals. The second route lets a single invoice arrive and be split internally afterwards. Choose the structure and get it into the agreement before signature.
Colleagues arriving on different flights
Indianapolis International Airport is 15 minutes from downtown. ATD publishes three carrier discounts, all into and out of IND: Southwest through SWABIZ for travel from 26 September to 4 October, United with meeting code ZRVK140770 for travel from 27 September to 5 October, and Delta with meeting event code NY4CZ for travel from 24 September to 6 October.
Registration desks are open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stagger arrivals inside those windows so nobody reaches a closed desk.
What the schedule does to your room nights
Tuesday breakfast runs 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. ahead of the 9:00 a.m. general session, and the day closes with a session from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Wednesday ends with a reception from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday's final session runs 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. and the conference wraps between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.
That shape sets three nights, Tuesday to Thursday, as the floor. Eight people in four doubles for three nights is 12 room-nights at the published $195, which is $2,340 before taxes and fees. A learning team of 12 in six doubles for three nights is 18 room-nights, $3,510. Adding a fourth night for those 12 takes it to 24 room-nights, $4,680.

Team registration moves on a different deadline
ATD publishes a team rate from three or more registrations, separate from the individual rate. Team registration for ATD members runs $1,050 on the Early Bird tier ending June 05, $1,150 on Preferred ending July 17, $1,250 on Advanced ending September 12, and $1,450 on Standard. Nonmember team rates are $1,250, $1,350, $1,450 and $1,650 on the same tiers.
The September 12 tier sits nine days after the September 3 room deadline. A planner watching one date pays the higher number on the other.
The route from registration to room confirmation
- Register the team and collect each colleague's confirmation.
- Count room-nights from the schedule.
- Request the block before September 3 to keep the conference rate in play.
- Name both host hotels in the request alongside any property you prefer.
- Ask every responding hotel for its cut-off date and attrition clause in writing.
- Set the billing structure in the agreement, individual folios or one master folio.
- Send each colleague their confirmation number and arrival window.
- Release unclaimed rooms before the cut-off date.
Confirm before you sign
ATD publishes the conference dates as September 29 to October 1, 2026. The venue lists a forecast attendance of 1,000 for the event in meeting room Sagamore 1-7, and its own page shows a second date range in its body copy, so confirm the dates on the organizer's page.
Indianapolis has 7,100 hotel rooms downtown and 4,700 connected to the convention center by skywalk, with 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance. A skywalk room keeps a team dry between a bed and a session.
