Three group rules on the registration page

SATShow Week 2027 runs 8 to 11 March at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Access Intelligence publishes three group rules on its registration page. Companies registering four or more people on Conference Passes receive 25 percent off the published rate, applied at checkout when the group registers together. Groups of 10 or more go to the registration team for a custom package. The discount applies to Conference Passes only and cannot be combined with other discounts.

Five Conference Passes across three rate periods

The Conference Pass carries three prices. The Launch Rate runs through 11 December 2026 at $2,199. The Activation Rate runs 12 December 2026 to 19 February 2027 at $2,499. The Orbit Rate runs 20 February to 11 March 2027 at $2,799. Each price covers the SATELLITE and GovMilSpace sessions, the Finance Forum, the Tech Seminar, the exhibit hall on all four days and the networking events.

Five passes at the Launch Rate cost $10,995 before the discount and $8,246.25 after it, which is $1,649.25 per person. The saving comes to $2,748.75. Five at the Activation Rate cost $12,495 before and $9,371.25 after, or $1,874.25 each. Five at the Orbit Rate cost $13,995 before and $10,496.25 after, or $2,099.25 each. The same five passes cost $3,000 more at the Orbit Rate than at the Launch Rate before the discount, and $2,250 more after it.

Mixed pass types inside one team

The discount applies to Conference Passes only. A team of five that buys three Conference Passes and two Exhibit Hall Passes takes 25 percent on the three Conference Passes and pays the Exhibit Hall rate on the other two. The Exhibit Hall Pass is free through 11 December 2026, $199 from 12 December to 19 February, and $349 from 20 February. The Tech Seminar Pass runs $799, $999 and $1,199 across the three periods. The Government Pass runs $699, $899 and $999, requires a .gov or .mil email, and excludes contractors. The Military Access Pass is free in every period and needs active-duty verification at badge pickup. The Inner Circle Access Pass runs $2,899, $3,199 and $3,399 and is capped at 150 holders.

Two dates that set the invoice

The rate period sets the price of each pass. A team that registers in November holds the Launch Rate for every pass in the order. The substitution deadline sets the names on those passes. Substitutions run until 6 March 2027, notice must come in writing from the original registrant to register@satshow.com, and no substitution is accepted onsite.

Reprints and cancellations

A badge reprint costs 30 percent of pass value, with a $50 minimum per reprint after the first badge is printed. On a $2,199 Conference Pass the charge is $659.70. On a $2,799 Orbit Rate pass it is $839.70. The $50 minimum is what a replacement Exhibit Hall Pass costs, because that pass is free. Cancellation requests go in writing to register@satshow.com. Access Intelligence states that it is not responsible for airfare or other travel costs if it cancels or postpones the event.

Landing for an 8:00 a.m. Monday

Monday 8 March opens with breakfast service from 8:00 to 8:30 for Conference Pass holders, an Inner Circle morning briefing from 8:30 to 9:10, and morning sessions from 9:15 to 11:50. The Monday keynote luncheon runs 12:00 to 1:30, afternoon sessions 1:30 to 4:00, the closing keynote 4:15 to 5:00 and the welcome reception from 5:00. Registration opens on Sunday 7 March from 8:00 to 5:00, so a team that lands on Sunday collects badges before the first breakfast.

The organiser's travel page gives the airport distances. DCA sits about 8 miles south with Yellow and Blue line Metro service. IAD sits about 35 miles west on the Silver Line or by taxi and rideshare. BWI sits about 42 miles north with MARC commuter rail and rideshare. The venue stop is Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center on the Yellow and Green lines, and the station exit opens onto the building. Events DC lists more than 3,000 parking spaces within three blocks, filled first-come. United runs a meeting reservation desk on (800) 426-1122 and Delta a meeting network on 1.800.328.1111.

Where the rooms come from

SATShow Week runs its block through Connections Housing. The booking link opens a SmartBlock request form that asks for attendee or exhibitor type and publishes no property name and no nightly rate. The organiser states that group rates are available until the block sells out or the cutoff date arrives, whichever comes first. Give the property the room count and the arrival night at the request stage.

bookMyTeam's group rate calculator prices five rooms against the district band. The RFP desk carries the request to properties, and how it works sets out the sequence.
