Four days and the clock the organiser publishes
World Vaccine Congress Washington 2027 runs 8 to 11 March 2027 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Terrapinn publishes the day boundaries. The pre-congress workshops sit on Monday 8 March from 10:00 to 17:00. Day one runs Tuesday 9 March, 9:00 to 17:45. Day two runs Wednesday 10 March, 9:00 to 17:45. Day three runs Thursday 11 March, 9:00 to 15:00. The registration time on all four days is listed as to be confirmed.
The agenda rows follow the same clock. Tuesday starts at 08:59 with a welcome, runs into the chair's opening remarks at 09:00 and the opening keynote at 09:15. Wednesday's first sessions sit at 09:00 and 09:10. Thursday's last block is the chair's remarks at 13:30, a keynote fireside chat with Dr Chelsea Clinton at 13:40 and the closing keynote at 14:20. The page carries a last-published stamp of 31 August 2026, so read every slot as provisional and the day boundaries as the firm part.
Two workshop boxes, even for delegates who skip workshops
The registration FAQ answers the question a coordinator meets on the first attempt. Its guidance reads: "Complete both AM and PM workshop selections where required, even if you do not plan to attend a workshop." The form asks every delegate for a morning workshop and an afternoon workshop. A team booking ten passes makes twenty of those choices before checkout clears.
Fifteen workshops run across five named tracks: HIV Vaccines, AMR, Antibodies for Infectious Diseases, Global Health and Vaccine Technology. The agenda lists all five opening at 10:00 on 8 March. Assign the picks from the track list before the form opens.
The pass ladder and the group tiers
Terrapinn prints four pass families on its register page. Standard Pass Full App Access reads USD 4,795 list and USD 2,320 before 13 November. Standard Pass Limited Access reads USD 4,495 and USD 2,020. Pharma/Biotech Full App Access reads USD 2,595 and USD 1,330. Pharma/Biotech Limited Access reads USD 2,295 and USD 1,030. The Government, NGO and Academic Pass reads USD 795 for Full App Access and USD 495 for Limited Access.
Group tiers sit on the same page. Three or more passes take 20 percent, five or more take 40 percent and ten or more take 50 percent, applied automatically at checkout. The tiers do not apply to the Government, NGO, Non-Profit or Academia package.
The page prints one group price per pass for a group of 3+ booked before 13 November. Standard Full App Access shows USD 1,855 against USD 4,795 list. Pharma/Biotech Full App Access shows USD 1,065. The page states that bookings made at the wrong rate are cancelled or refunded and the buyer is asked to rebook.
Prices exclude tax. No food and beverage is provided on any pass, and catering cafes run in the exhibition hall. One pass covers both co-located events on the same floor, the World Vaccine Congress Washington 2027 and World BioSecurity Congress & Expo USA 2027.
Getting a team to 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW
Events DC publishes Green and Yellow line service to Mt. Vernon Square/Convention Center, with station entrances that lead into the building. The Red Line stops at Gallery Place-Chinatown, a five-minute walk away. Union Station, served by Amtrak, sits on the Red Line. Three airports serve the city: DCA, IAD and BWI.
Events DC lists over 3,000 parking spaces within a three-block radius and states that the Convention Center holds no public parking. The SATShow travel page calls those spaces first-come, first-served. Complimentary Wi-Fi runs across the facility at 768 kBps download and upload.
The building carries two published address forms. Terrapinn prints 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001. Events DC prints both that form and 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW. Give the driver the version on your confirmation and the postcode 20001.
The departure window the 15:00 close opens
Thursday ends at 15:00. Build the flights from that hour, because the badge has to be in hand before the last morning and the registration desk hours are unpublished. Collect badges on 9 or 10 March. Union Station carries Amtrak departures through the evening, and the venue sits two Metro stops from it on the Red Line through Gallery Place-Chinatown.
Two rules narrow the roster. Individuals under 18 are not admitted to the congress. Tickets are generally non-refundable, and a registration may be transferred to another person through charlotte.thom@terrapinn.com. Send confirmed names rather than placeholders if the team may change.
