Four days, one hall, 35 hours
The 45th Annual Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals runs 12-15 November 2026 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 North Oak Street. The published hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Those four windows total 35 hours on the show floor.
The Victorian Holiday Marketplace fills a 100,800 square foot exhibit hall. The venue publishes the hall as column-free, divisible into three sections, with 35-foot ceilings, dedicated docks, utilities pulled every 30 feet from floor boxes and drive-in access. A club moving people through one building works with one address, one entry and one timetable.
The Sunday noon open sets the fourth night
Three nights cover the show. A group that arrives Thursday for the 9 a.m. open checks out Sunday morning, holds bags in the vehicles across a lot that carries more than 2,047 spaces, and walks back in at noon for the closing six hours. Parking runs $5 a day for cars and $10 a day for buses, so the Sunday return costs a parking fee and no room night.
The fourth night is the trade. A Wednesday arrival buys the Thursday 9 a.m. open. A Sunday night buys nothing, because the hall closes at 6 p.m. Sunday and the group leaves in the morning.
Price it against the published starting rate. Breakers Resort lists oceanfront one-bedroom suites from $89 a night, and at 10 rooms that is $890 for a night, $2,670 for three nights and $3,560 for four. The $89 is a published starting rate on the property's listing, and taxes and fees are not stated there. A negotiated block rate comes from an RFP.
Two properties inside six-tenths of a mile
Breakers Resort sits 0.54 miles from the convention center on the listing's own distance field. Camelot by the Sea sits 0.55 miles and publishes no rate. Behind them sit Dayton House Resort at 0.57, The Strand at 0.64, Roxanne Towers at 0.65, Anderson Ocean Club and Spa at 0.71, Carolinian Beach Resort at 0.75, The Patricia Grand at 0.79, Holiday Pavilion Resort at 0.81 and Caribbean Resort & Villas at 0.87, which lists one-bedroom suites from $84 a night.
The venue names one property as part of its own campus. The convention center's parking page groups the Myrtle Beach Sports Center and the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Hotel with its own site, and that hotel is the only one the venue names.
What the ticket buys
The hall carries 350-plus period-clad vendors selling jewelry, crafts, gifts, toys, art, gourmet foods and holiday decor. The floor programme includes strolling Victorian musicians, tea leaf readers, Punch & Judy shows, shadow box displays, a life-sized Historic Santa Through the Ages exhibit and a live Santa. Festival displays of trees, tables, wreaths, worlds and stockings sell by silent auction, with all proceeds going to the sponsoring non-profit. The Victorian Snow Globe Challenge and Scrooge's Hunt for the Missing Presents run on the floor for anyone who joins in. Off-site offerings include historical tours and holiday shows at local theatres.
The organiser is Leisure Time Unlimited of Myrtle Beach, reachable on 843-448-9483. Its group page states that it will customise an affordable package to a group's size and budget.
Admission prices are not published. The organiser's ticket page for the 2025 edition read "Online tickets are closed. Tickets are available at the Show" once the run began, and no advance price appears on any page reachable for the 2026 run. Put the per-person figure and the group rate in the same call as the room question.
House rules that shape a club's day
No outside food or drink enters the building. Concession stands sit in each exhibit hall, and Vidalia's, Coffee & Cream and M Bar operate on the second floor of the Sheraton. Seat cushions are allowed. Wheelchairs are available at no cost on a first-come basis. The venue unlocks its doors between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., and the organiser sets the exhibit-hall door time.
Build the room list around the timetable
bookMyTeam publishes that most hotels quote group rates from 10 rooms per night, with some discounting from 5 rooms depending on season and availability. It publishes 15-40% below rack rates as the band competitive bidding produces. Hotels respond in 24-72 hours, and a request costs nothing to submit. A club that names its three nights and its Sunday-morning checkout in the RFP gets comparable offers in one dashboard. The how-it-works page sets out the sequence from room count to signed block.
Two details belong in every offer request: a late-checkout or bag-hold answer for Sunday morning, and a walking distance for the property, since the listing's figures run from 0.54 to 0.87 miles.
