A Wednesday Afternoon Kickoff
The 2026 Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl kicks off Wednesday, December 30 at 2 p.m. CT, 3 p.m. ET, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. ESPN carries the game nationally. The bowl published the date and time in a release dated June 3, 2026.
This is the 28th playing, and it matches a Big Ten team against an SEC team. The bowl names the two teams and the ticket details in a later release.
The 2 p.m. CT start puts the game inside a working Wednesday.
What the Bowl Publishes
The bowl domain carries tickets, parking guidance and a mobile ticketing route. Its sitemap lists no group sales page, no suite listing and no hospitality offer.
Rooms follow the same pattern. The FAQ answer on Nashville reads: "Check out a list of all our recommendations for you during your stay - Visit Music City." The domain names no official hotel, no booking code and no cut-off date.
Two contact routes exist. Ticket questions go to tickets@musiccitybowl.com. Every other question goes to the bowl office at 615-743-3130, open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST, with a message service for calls the office cannot take.
Tickets Are Mobile and Not Yet on Sale
The FAQ reads: "Tickets for the 2026 Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl are not currently available." The tickets page repeats the position. SeatGeek is the platform named for purchases, and the lost-ticket answer routes SeatGeek buyers to tickets@musiccitybowl.com.
Delivery runs through mobile ticketing. The tickets page describes the Account Manager as the hub that houses the tickets and transfers them "with just a few taps." A host holding a block of seats sends each guest a transfer before game day. Put that task in the week the tickets land.
The Ticket Office Sits at Gate 6
The stadium policy page places the ticket office at Gate 6 and states the box office opens three hours before an event start, for walk-up service on the day of the event only. A 2 p.m. CT kickoff puts that opening at 11 a.m. CT.
The bowl FAQ sends buyers who used a school ticket office back to the school, or to gates 7 and 10 on game day.
Parking Sits Outside the Campus
Construction removed the on-site option. The bowl tickets page reads: "Due to ongoing construction around Nissan Stadium, on-site parking is not available." Parking is pre-purchased through PMC.
The stadium transportation page adds two conditions. Accessible parking needs a pass bought in advance and runs first-come, first-served. The ADA lane pass comes from the stadium Contact Us form and covers the Lot T drop-off, and the pass carries no parking with it.
Two shuttle products move a group. The Gray Line Tennessee gameday shuttle costs $20 roundtrip per person, runs continuous service from 90 minutes before kickoff, and returns from halftime until one hour after the game. Children 6 and under ride free. The service takes no cash.
The park and ride option costs $50 per vehicle from 1221 Broadway and $70 per vehicle from Franklin and Cool Springs, taxes additional. Departures run at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., and the parking receipt serves as the ticket.
The Building Takes Cards Only
Nissan Stadium accepts credit card and mobile payment at all vendors, concession stands, bars, parking and retail locations. Cash converts inside the stadium at a reverse ATM behind section 124.
The clear bag rule caps bags at 12 by 12 by 6 inches, and non-transparent bags at 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Strollers, umbrellas and coolers are prohibited. The bowl bars ticket pass-outs, so a guest who leaves the building cannot re-enter.
Seating splits by conference. The SEC team sits on the east side and the Big Ten team on the west side of a 68,000-seat open-air stadium at One Titans Way, Nashville, Tennessee 37213.
Rooms Need a Booking Date Before the Teams Are Named
Last season drew 52,815 fans, and 89 percent of attendees travelled from outside Nashville. The bowl put the 2025 economic impact above $38.2 million across the city.
The bowl publishes a 15-minute distance line to Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and nothing else about lodging. A host who wants rooms near the stadium books them without a published block, so start the request early and hold two nights, December 29 and December 30.
A new stadium is projected to open next door in early 2027. This game is the last edition beside the current building.
The Ask List for the Bowl Office
On-sale date. When tickets open, and whether the office holds seats for a block of 20 or more.
Group price. Whether a per-seat rate applies above ten seats, since the domain publishes no group page.
Hospitality. Whether a suite or a hospitality space is sold for this game, and its minimum spend.
Transfers. The Account Manager procedure and the deadline for sending seats to guests.
Arrival. A coach drop-off and pick-up point, since the bowl and the stadium pages publish no coach route.
Rooms. A block for December 29 and December 30. Send it through bookMyTeam's request form and price it with the group rate calculator. The Nashville hotel directory lists the supply.
