The Emerging Leaders Forum runs Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 S. Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce stages the second annual edition. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the forum adjourns at 4:45 p.m. The venue forecasts 220 attendees and lists the session space as Meeting Rooms 231-239. Its event page carries the same programme under the name Emerging Leaders' Summit.
The Day Runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Registration and a continental breakfast open the agenda at 8:30 a.m. Welcome and opening remarks follow at 9:00 a.m., with the opening keynote at 9:15 a.m. Breaks fall at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
The Emerging Leader of the Year Awards Luncheon sits at noon. Three afternoon sessions follow at 1:15 p.m., 2:10 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. A networking reception starts at 4:00 p.m., and the forum adjourns at 4:45 p.m.
One hotel night covers the whole programme. A delegation arriving Tuesday, October 6 wakes up near the registration desk. A delegation flying in on the morning of October 7 needs a landing time before 8:30 a.m.
Hold the Rooms Under One Reference
One reservation, one reference number, one point of contact. Give the hotel the group name, the dates and the room count.
bookMyTeam publishes 10 or more rooms as the group-rate threshold, and notes that some hotels discount from five rooms. A delegation of four or six sits under that published threshold, so the request route carries the booking. The platform sends a request to 50 or more hotels per destination, and publishes responses inside 24 to 72 hours at no charge to the planner.
Send the request through the group rate request form and keep the delegation on one reference.
Build the Rooming List Before the Request
A rooming list is a name beside a room type. Collect it before you ask for rates, because the mix sets the price.
Start with the bed configuration. Three doubles hold six colleagues and bill three room-nights for one night. Six singles hold the same six colleagues and bill six room-nights. Fix the configuration before the request goes out.
Add the arrival pattern. Colleagues book their own flights, so the list names who arrives Tuesday night and who arrives Wednesday morning. A delegate landing at 7:00 a.m. needs somewhere to leave a bag. Ask the property to confirm a luggage hold before check-in.
Record dietary and mobility requirements on the same list, and send it to the hotel and the venue before the cut-off date.
Registration Rates for a Delegation
The Indiana Chamber publishes two routes. A table of six costs $579 for members and $699 at list price. Individual tickets cost $199 for members and $249 at list price, so six individual tickets total $1,194 for a member delegation and $1,494 at list price.
The table of six saves $615 for a member delegation and $795 at list price. A lunch-only option runs $99 per individual ticket and $479 per table of six.
Room Money for a Single Night
bookMyTeam publishes a 15% to 40% saving against best available rates on group bookings. No Indianapolis rate is published for this date, so work from a labelled example.
At an example $200 rate, six colleagues in three doubles hold three room-nights. That costs $600 at the example rate, $510 at 15% off and $360 at 40% off. The same six in singles hold six room-nights: $1,200, $1,020 and $720.
Run that arithmetic against the rooming list before the request leaves.
Cancellation Terms
The Chamber refunds in full for cancellations made at least two weeks before the programme, which puts the deadline at Wednesday, September 23, 2026. After that date the Chamber grants no cash refunds and accepts substitutions.
The hotel agreement carries its own cancellation terms. On a one-night stay a late release removes a room-night from the block. Ask for the cancellation window in writing before signature.
bookMyTeam publishes the room block cut-off date and the attrition clause as standard terms. The cut-off date releases unclaimed rooms to the hotel's general inventory. The attrition clause sets the minimum share of the block the group must fill.
Where the Team Sleeps
The Indiana Chamber names the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis as the event hotel. Reservations run through (317) 632-1234 or the property booking page, and corporate account ID 55737 carries the discounted rate over the phone. The Chamber notes the rate is subject to availability.
The Hyatt Regency sits in the same building as the Indiana Chamber Conference Center, per the Chamber's hotel note.
Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms, and 4,700 of them connect to the Indiana Convention Center by skywalk. More than 200 downtown restaurants sit within walking distance, and Indianapolis International Airport is 15 minutes away. The convention center publishes all four figures.
Browse the Indianapolis hotel directory for properties that answer group requests.
Put These Questions in the Request
Four property-level facts stay unpublished, so the request is the place to collect them. Ask for the bed configurations available to the block, the breakfast service hours, coach and van parking, and whether the group can hold a shared floor.
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., so the rooms must be ready the night before. Confirm the earliest check-in on October 6 and the latest check-out on October 7.
Ask for one invoice covering room and tax, with incidentals billed to individual folios. Size the request with the group rate calculator, then read how the request process runs before the first call.
The forum is one day. The room work sits in the night before it. Get the rooming list, the reference number and the cancellation window in writing, and the delegation reaches registration at 8:30 a.m. with the room side settled.
