A Free Half-Day Offsite on December 5

The parade steps off at 11 a.m.

A Very Broadway Christmas Parade runs Saturday, December 5 from 11:00 a.m. to noon, per the venue's own event record. The record names stilt walkers, classic cars, marching bands and special guests. It links a route PDF, and that file returned 403 to this desk. The block-by-block route stays unconfirmed.

Admission to the property is free. The venue FAQ reads: "Admission to Broadway at the Beach is free. Only the attractions require individual fees." A half-day offsite costs nothing at the gate.

Center Court from 12:30 to 3

Visits with Santa and Friends run 12:30 to 3 p.m. in Center Court every Saturday from November 21 through December 19. December 5 is one of those Saturdays. The record lists complimentary face painting and balloon-tying stilt walkers in the same block. Bring a phone or camera.

Two caveats sit on the same record. Santa may reach the Holiday House a few minutes late on December 5 because of the parade. The visits and the activities run weather permitting.

The five-hour afternoon

Three o'clock to eight o'clock needs filling. Backstage Escape Games sits at 1314 Celebrity Circle #165 on the property, across the bridge from WonderWorks. It publishes a starting rate of $39.95 per person and up to one hour in each room. Guests check in 15 minutes before the game, and staff do not admit late arrivals once a game starts. Children under 16 need an adult booked with the group. A child under 10 needs a private booking. A party under eight people may be paired with other guests unless it books the entire game. The operator runs a no-cancellation policy and reschedules with 24 hours' notice. Phones are stored before entry, and photography inside the room is barred. The booking line is (843) 712-1237.

The Escape Game sits at 1138 Celebrity Circle Suite 323. It publishes 60-minute games for up to eight players, unlimited hints and store hours of 8 a.m. to midnight daily. Its Myrtle Beach page carries no price, so a team sees the figure at checkout. The contact line is (843) 994-2637.

Topgolf Myrtle Beach sits at 2850 Robert Grissom Parkway on (843) 945-3318, with Saturday hours of 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Dave & Buster's sits at 1322 Celebrity Circle, and its special-events line is (843) 945-3506. The group page lists "Over 20 Restaurants & Lite-Bite Eateries". None of the three operators publishes a group rate.

Fireworks at 8

The fireworks show runs at 8 p.m. over Lake Broadway, and the venue marks it weather permitting. It carries no ticket and no admission line.

The shops trade to 9

The venue hours page puts November 27 through December 23 at 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. December 5 is a Saturday. The property closes at 9, one hour after the fireworks. Restaurant, attraction and nightlife hours vary by tenant, and the venue states that hours are subject to change.

Arriving costs nothing either

Parking is free, and motorcoach parking is available. The group page lists restrooms at eight locations, wheelchair and scooter rentals, stroller rentals, ATMs, a guest services centre and wayfinding signage. The address is 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, on US 17 between 21st and 29th Avenue North.

The property publishes no public wifi and no locker storage. A planner settles connectivity and bag storage before arrival.

Group pre-registration runs by email to the group desk or by phone on (843) 444-3200. The venue asks for company name, number of buses, number of guests, date and estimated arrival time, motorcoach provider, group leader contact details and any requests.

If the team stays the night

The accommodations page names three properties. Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach at Broadway carries 141 rooms on (843) 916-0600 and sits on site. Fairfield Inn by Marriott carries 111 rooms on (843) 444-8097 and sits across the street near Legends in Concert. Holiday Inn Express carries 114 rooms on (843) 916-4993. None of the three publishes a rate, a block size or a cutoff date.

Take twenty staff in ten double rooms as the working example. One night, December 5, comes to ten room nights. A Friday December 4 arrival and a Sunday December 6 departure make it twenty. Ten rooms reaches the threshold bookMyTeam publishes as 10+ rooms per night, and some properties discount from five rooms depending on season and availability.

Twenty people into Backstage Escape Games at the published starting rate comes to $799, before tax and before any private-room charge. The operator publishes no capacity per room, so the split across rooms is a call to (843) 712-1237.

What the calendar leaves blank

The cost field sits empty on each December 5 record, so no ticket price exists for the parade, the Santa visits or the fireworks. The three hotels publish room counts and phone numbers alone. The venue publishes no rain plan for the parade, and its weather language covers the fireworks and the Santa visits. A planner holding a fixed Saturday confirms the parade route and the weather call with the group desk before booking buses.
