Six Weeks of Christmas on One Campus
A Country Christmas at Gaylord Opryland runs November 6, 2026 to January 2, 2027 at 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37214. Two paid attractions carry a corporate outing.
The first is ice! featuring "Home Alone", a walk-through of ten scenes carved from more than 2 million pounds of ice and held at 9 degrees Fahrenheit. The attraction covers 19,000 square feet and includes two-story slides. The resort's FAQ puts the visit at 20 to 40 minutes and lets guests stay as long as they like. Tickets are single-entry, so a team that exits cannot go back in.
The second is POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance, November 24 to December 31, 2026. The show runs 65 minutes with 26 international performers, from the acclaimed book and TV special of the same name.
The Property's Event Record Sets the Room
Marriott's events page for the property lists the Tennessee Ballroom at 18,105 square feet with a permanent 40-by-20-foot stage and direct vehicle access. Its capacity chart carries 1,944 theater, 1,280 banquet and 1,646 reception.
The same page publishes 92 event rooms and 766,718 square feet of total event space. Its largest capacity room is Ryman Exhibit Hall B, at 10,000.
The Christmas site does not name the room that holds either attraction. Put that question to the group desk before a dinner booking lands on a performance night.
Group Tickets Start at Ten Guests
The resort publishes one threshold. Groups of 10 or more save on tickets to ice!, to the cirque show and to other holiday activities. The discount applies on select dates and blackout dates apply.
One route exists: a form at updates.gaylordhotels.com/OprylandGroupChristmasTickets. It asks for a company or group name, group size, purpose of visit, activity of interest, two date preferences and two time preferences chosen from 30-minute slots between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Corporate Outing is one of the purpose options. No price appears on the form or elsewhere on the holiday site.
Every Room Offer Excludes 10 or More Rooms
The room packages on the same site carry an exclusion in their terms. The "Home Alone" ice! Experience Package, code 1GC, includes a room night and two to five single-entry ice! tickets, and reads: "Offer does not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms or conventions." The Chill & Thrill package repeats that sentence. Stay Longer & Save More, code S6058, gives up to 15 percent off a three-night stay and up to 20 percent off four nights or more, and reads: "Offer does not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms."
The group of ten that the ticket desk will quote is the group the room packages will not. Run the rooms through bookMyTeam's request form, which sends one request to 50 or more hotels in the destination. bookMyTeam publishes a 15-40 percent band below rack rates and states in its FAQ that most hotels offer group rates from 10 rooms per night, with some discounting from five rooms depending on season and availability. Treat the band as a benchmark and the hotel reply as the number. The group rate calculator prices a block from the planner's own inputs. The resort publishes no Nashville rate for this season.
Five Numbers the Site Never Prints
Ticket price for either show. The ticketing site shows pricing only after a date is selected. Group discount. Party package. Room rate. Meeting room rental.
Two published charges do apply. Parking is $55 daily for valet and $37 daily for self-parking, tax additional. Day guests are charged per entry and in-and-out privileges run to overnight guests only. The resort is cashless throughout.
The weddings FAQ on the events page states that a taxable service charge, currently 26 percent, and applicable state tax, currently 9.75 percent, are added to all rental fees.
Dining carries a holiday rule. Table-service restaurant reservations run exclusive to overnight resort guests during the holidays, so a team attending a day-only party cannot book a table-service dinner on its own. Put private dining into the party package request.
Resort access is gated on peak nights. After 3:00 p.m. CT, access is guaranteed only to overnight guests and to holders of indoor or outdoor ticket reservations, every Friday and Saturday from November 20, daily November 23-26 and December 18-31, 2026. An evening party inside those windows needs every attendee holding an event ticket or a room key.
The Ask List for the Group Desk
Send the form, then put seven questions in the follow-up email.
The ticket rate. Per-person price for ice! and for the cirque show at your group size on your dates, and which select dates carry the discount.
The party package. What the resort bundles for a corporate holiday party, and its price per person.
The room. Which meeting room or private dining room holds your headcount, and which room holds each attraction.
The room rate. A group rate for your block, since every published offer excludes it.
Deposit and cancellation. Day-guest tickets are non-refundable. The FAQ lets overnight guests change or cancel at no charge up to five days out, and a second answer says 72 hours. Get one figure in writing.
Arrival and parking. A coach drop-off plan and whether parking can be prepaid into the package.
The gate. Whether a party falling inside a restricted window needs each attendee holding a ticket before 3:00 p.m.
Start the room side at Nashville's team hotel directory if the block outgrows one property. The two desks quote separately, so build one budget line from each.
