The Entry Fee Steps Up After November 2
N.S. Promotions & Events prices the 5K at $50 on the RunSignup registration page for the 20th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk presented by United Bank. The same page prints the next threshold: "Price increases after November 2, 2026 at 11:59pm EST." The page publishes no figure for the later tier, so a team that waits knows only that the number grows.
Twenty-five staff at $50 is $1,250 before any room cost. The children of those staff enter the Gobbler Kids' Dash for $0.
What the $50 Covers
Every 5K entry carries a participant shirt while supplies last, a participant medal and a race bib. Post-race water and snacks go to participants. The course is USATF certified and runs through The Market Common and the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.
The organiser calls it "one of the largest races in the Myrtle Beach area." The myrtlebeach.com event listing prints a field of 1,200 runners and walkers. Neither page publishes a field cap, and the entry page showed 1,259 places remaining, so a cap exists without a number.
The course has no water stop. A team running together should carry what it needs or plan on the finish line.
An 8 a.m. Start and a 10 a.m. Close
The RunSignup event block lists the 5K from 8:00AM to 10:00AM EST. That two-hour window is the planning number for a corporate outing. The run ends before mid-morning, and Thanksgiving Day stays with the families. Walkers are welcome, and the organiser states that on both its pages.
The Kids' Dash Costs Nothing
The Gobbler Kids' Dash covers 50 yards and carries a $0 price. It runs 9:00AM to 9:10AM. Two conditions apply. Participants must register online, and dash registration closes November 26 at 6:00AM EST. The dash has no awards. Entry includes a bib and a medal, and a participant shirt is an add-on at checkout. Seventy-six dash places remained when this was written.
Awards Run Three Deep in Sixteen Brackets
Places go to overall male and female first, second and third, overall masters male and female first, and age-group male and female first, second and third across sixteen brackets from 0-10 through 80 and up. That is 104 places, counted from the published list. Gun timing decides the overall awards and chip timing decides the age groups, so a runner starting at the back still races for an age-group place.
The Wheeled-Device Rule Catches a Family Team
Baby joggers, baby strollers, skateboards, roller blades, unauthorised bicycles and any other wheeled device are barred from the course, and a participant using one is disqualified. ADA-recognised wheelchairs and mobility aids are permitted. The participant must tell staff at bib pickup and start at the back of the race. Animals face the same rule, with ADA service animals permitted on the same notice and start-at-the-back terms. The myrtlebeach.com listing says strollers are welcome. The organiser's rule governs the course.
Packet Pickup Sets the Travel Night
Pickup runs Wednesday, November 25 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at a venue still listed as TBA, and again on race morning from 6:45 to 7:45am at the Grand Park Lake courtyard on Farrow Parkway. A team that reaches the Wednesday window collects shirts before race day. A team that arrives on race morning receives a bib only. The shirt waits at the info tent until the race is finished.
One night, Wednesday November 25, therefore carries the whole event. Register, drive in Wednesday afternoon, collect bibs and shirts between 4 and 7, sleep, run at 8, finish by 10.
Parking Is Free and the Site Is Small
Parking is free in the Farrow Parking Garage next to Nacho Hippo, and free along Market Common side streets. Restrooms are portable units in the courtyard at Grand Park Lake. The start is Grand Park Lake Courtyard at 1150 Farrow Parkway. The event listing files the venue as The Market Common, 4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
The Room Side
The race publishes no hotel partner and no room rate. The event listing's nearby block begins 1.54 miles out at Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark. It carries two published deals: Compass Cove Resort at 1.8 miles, "Oceanfront Rooms From $64/Night", and Breakers Resort at 4.55 miles, "Oceanfront One Bedroom Suites From $89/nt". Those are public rates. No property is named as connected to the race.
Twenty-five runners sharing thirteen double rooms need thirteen rooms for one night on November 25. Thirteen rooms clears the ten-room floor most hotels use, as bookMyTeam publishes it. Some properties discount from five rooms depending on season and availability. At the published $64 deal, thirteen room nights come to $832 before tax. Ask the property to confirm checkout time against the 10 a.m. finish, then send the dates through the RFP form.
What Neither Page Answers
Neither page publishes the price after November 2, an elevation profile, a team or corporate entry product, or a stated field cap. Registration is online only and closes November 26 at 6:00AM EST.
