A house that holds 940

Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show sits at 8907 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce lists 940 seats for the property in its meeting-spaces list. The same entry answers the fee question: "No, if booked as normal group reservations."

A group write-up on the operator's own site names the same figure and describes the room. The theatre carries an upstairs area with its own bar and restrooms, plus an outdoor balcony.

What a group booking includes

Groups of 20 or more receive special discount pricing. Group Information Services takes the booking on 865-505-3320 and runs a request form.

The pre-show runs in Pirates Village while guests arrive. The operator asks guests to arrive up to one hour before showtime for ticket pickup, themed drinks, snacks and a sing-along. Join the Crew adds pirate or mermaid makeup before the curtain at $24.99 plus tax per person.

One curtain, 6 p.m., out near 7:30

The Christmas edition runs on select dates from 4 November through 2 January. The booking calendar sells a single 6 p.m. ET curtain on every date in the window except 24 December, which runs a 1 p.m. matinee.

Doors open one hour before showtime, so arrival is 5 p.m. The main show lasts approximately 90 minutes, which places the exit near 7:30 p.m. VIP Admission holders arrive 90 minutes ahead, at 4:30 p.m.

An offsite books around that clock. A team works a full day, arrives at 5 p.m. and sits down at six.

What the 2026 Christmas show contains

The 2026 edition is new. Giant Christmas toys perform acrobatics above the lagoon. A castaway and her sea lion run a comedy thread. A live Nativity includes wise men and an angel. The pirate battle runs on land, on deck, in water and above two full-sized ships in a 15-foot-deep indoor lagoon. The Christmas page names the Crimson and Emerald crews, and the feast page names the Crimson and Sapphire crews.

The four-course feast arrives during the action: creamy vegetable soup, a biscuit, half a roasted chicken, sugar-cured ham, corn, macaroni and cheese, and a choice of apple pie or chocolate coconut cake, with unlimited soft drinks, tea or coffee. Gluten-free and vegan versions are selected at checkout. There is no separate children's menu.

Adult admission starts at $59.99. The booking system quoted $70.17 with taxes and fees on 4 November. A full house at the published starting rate runs to $56,390.60. Group rates come from Group Information Services.

Parking and the gaps

Parking sits on site. The operator describes parking areas close to the entrance and staff who direct arrivals. No motorcoach bay or coach rate appears on the Myrtle Beach pages, so a coach question goes with the quote.

There is no bag policy. Every guest passes a scanner, and staff search bags at their discretion. Guests may bring noise-reducing headphones. Car seats, carriers and strollers are not permitted inside the theatre. A military rate exists and is booked by phone on 843-497-9700.

The room side sits with the planner. The Myrtle Beach pages name no hotel partner. bookMyTeam publishes that most hotels quote group rates from 10 rooms a night, with some discounting from 5 rooms, and that competitive bidding produces 15-40% below rack. Hotels respond in 24-72 hours.

The four questions for the quote

Send four items to Group Information Services in one message: the price for a stated headcount, the upstairs room and balcony for a stated window before 5 p.m., coach parking and a drop-off point, and the deposit and final-count dates. Send the lodging request through the RFP form in the same week, so ticket count and room count move together.
