Two routes into the zoo for a company

The Fort Worth Zoo runs two booking desks for companies. The corporate and private events desk takes groups from 75 to 7,500 people. The group ticket desk takes parties of 15 or more.

The zoo holds 64 acres at 1989 Colonial Parkway, Fort Worth 76110. Daily hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What the corporate desk sells

The corporate page lists turnkey services: catering, staging and linen rental. It lists add-ons by name: wild photos, live animal presentations, Zoo Bucks, face painters and caricature artists.

The same page puts the venue range at 75 to more than 3,000 guests. Dress runs from boots to black tie. A single department offsite sits at the floor of both numbers.

The team-building round

Zoo staff facilitates the activity. Teams answer trivia questions about their own company to earn supplies. The supplies build an enrichment item, and the zoo states the item may be used by its animals. The page also lists scavenger hunts and a live animal presentation.

The build gives the day a physical deliverable. The team leaves an object the animal care staff can use.

The event window shapes the day

Boo at the Zoo ran Oct. 23, 24 and 25, 2026 inside the regular zoo day. The treat stations kept the 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. window. Four acts ran on a published loop. The Guy in the Yellow Suit played the Outdoor Learning Theater at 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. The Bewitched Barnyard took the same theater at noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Dr. Suds Bubble Lab ran at The Reserve at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Renfield the Bat ran at The Reserve at 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 4 p.m.

A 1 p.m. arrival catches the 1:30 p.m. sets, the 2:15 p.m. sets, the 3 p.m. sets and the 3:45 p.m. show. The last Renfield show starts at 4 p.m. and leaves one hour before the gates close. A team offsite built on that frame closes by 5 p.m. and fills a half day.

Below 75 people, the group ticket desk

Groups of 15 or more buy discounted admission. The zoo requires the reservation at least one week before the visit. Event Sales takes the booking at 817-759-7300. Groups of 50 or more call the same line. Organisations with 300 or more employees can join the consignment program, which lets staff visit on a day of their own choosing.

What each admission carries

Admission costs $22 for adults 13 and older, $18 for children 3 to 12, $18 for seniors 65 and older. Children 2 and younger enter free. Parking costs $5 per vehicle and is free for members with a valid member ID. A ticket covers one visit within 30 days of purchase.

Every admission ticket and membership carries six complimentary treat coupons. One coupon redeems for four pieces of pre-mixed candy. Extra coupons cost $5 for six and sell at the zoo entrance, the Lion Cart, Safari Traders, the Penguin Cart and the General Store in Texas Wild.

Guests 13 and older must keep faces visible and identifiable, with no full-face masks and no heavy makeup. The event runs rain or shine and cancels only for severe weather, with notice on the zoo website and social channels.

Rooms for a team that stays over

The Fort Worth hotel directory on this network lists 255 properties across the city. Downtown entries include AC Hotel Fort Worth Downtown at 101 W 5th St and Aloft by Marriott Fort Worth Downtown at 334 West 3rd Street.

Send the room request separately from the events request. The block takes a headcount, a room count and dates.

What goes in the two requests

Four items belong in the events request: the headcount against the 75-person floor, the arrival time against the 5 p.m. close, the add-ons to be priced separately, and the trivia round if the team wants the enrichment build.

The room request takes the dates, the room count and the per-night target. Ask for the group rate in writing and for the cut-off date the contract carries.
