The trip is one day and one night

The 2026 Oregon Caregiver Conference runs on Tuesday, November 10, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. The chapter prints 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event flyer prints 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Book the return flight against the later figure.

One night carries the trip. Monday, November 9 in Portland. Conference day Tuesday. Home Tuesday evening.

Registration cost and the free seats

The flyer prices registration at $100 for professionals and the general public, with reduced rates for students. The first 250 Oregon family caregivers register free through Oregon Care Partners. The registrant selects Oregon Family Caregiver at checkout and must live in Oregon. The places run first come, first served.

Payment is by credit card only and falls due at registration. The 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900 takes a registration by phone.

The CEU answer decides the registration option

6.5 CEUs are available to eligible professionals. The registration record lists three conditions. The registrant chooses the General Public option, lives in Oregon, and pays the $100. CEUs are not available to anyone registered as a family caregiver.

The chapter routes CEU questions to Lori at lstanton@alz.org. An approver gets that answer in writing before the card is charged. The registration option chosen at checkout decides whether the credits exist.

What the day holds

The programme carries keynote speakers on Alzheimer's and dementia research, breakout sessions, a luncheon presentation, and the Association's education and community resources. Lunch is included with registration. A happy hour follows the programming.

The 2026 agenda is unpublished. The page reads "2026 Agenda Coming Soon", so no session clock exists yet. Build the travel window on the organiser's 8:00 a.m. start and the flyer's 4:30 p.m. close. The venue record runs 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the same date.

This is the 28th annual conference. The chapter puts Oregonians providing unpaid care for a person with Alzheimer's or another dementia at 192,000.

The room, and the block threshold

Neither the chapter nor the venue names a host hotel, a room block or a group rate. One traveller books a single room direct.

bookMyTeam defines a group rate as a block of 10 or more rooms, priced 15 to 40 percent below the best available rate. A department sending 10 or more staff puts the dates through the RFP form. The group rate calculator returns a working figure from the room count and the dates. The Portland directory lists 278 hotels with address and star rating, and no rate.

Parking and the airport leg

The underground garage holds 800 spaces. Entry costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privilege. A dynamic rate of $15 to $25 applies at event entry. The garage opens at 6:00 a.m., overnight parking is prohibited, and the booths take cards and touchless payment.

566 metered spaces sit within three blocks. MAX light rail stops 300 times a day near the front door. The venue publishes 8 miles to Portland International Airport.

The building that Tuesday

The conference uses Portland Ballroom 251-254 and 257-258. No other event is booked on November 10. The Saturday before carries the Oddities and Curiosities Expo in Halls C-D-E and the NW Martial Arts Festival in Hall A. Kumoricon takes Halls A-A1-B-C-D-E from November 13 to 15.

The four lines an approver signs

Registration: $100, or nil for an Oregon family caregiver inside the first 250. Room: one night on November 9 at the quoted rate. Parking: $15 to $25. Travel: airfare into PDX, 8 miles from the venue.

A 4:00 p.m. close and a 4:30 p.m. flyer leave one to two hours to reach the airport. An evening flight works on that window.
