What the three show days give a two-person team

The Texas Trophy Hunters Association runs the Outdoors Extravaganza at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas from Friday, January 8 to Sunday, January 10, 2027. The hall address is 650 S Griffin St. TTHA publishes the hours as 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Each 10x10 booth contract carries four exhibitor badges. A two-person team uses two and holds two in reserve, so a buying crew of up to four walks in on the same badge allocation. TTHA requires full payment at contract submission, and the page routes payment questions to 210-523-8500.

The page publishes no booth rate and no public gate price. Both sit inside the exhibitor portal. Put the booth line in the request to TTHA and budget the ground costs below.

Parking: $20 to enter, $20 to come back

The venue runs two paid lots through ACE Parking, both first-come and first-served. The on-site garage sits at Memorial Drive and S Griffin Street, holds 1,200 spaces across two levels, and charges $20 per day per entry with no in-and-out. Lot C at 502 S Lamar St holds 170 spaces at $17 per day on the same terms.

No in-and-out drives the three-day arithmetic. One parked vehicle across Friday, Saturday and Sunday costs $60 in the garage or $51 in Lot C. Two vehicles cost $120 or $102. A crew that leaves the hall for a supplier dinner and returns pays the day rate twice on that day.

A single-day visit costs $20 in the garage or $17 in Lot C. The ground difference between the full trip and one day is $40 for one vehicle, and $34 in Lot C.

The room: the Omni publishes a block rate

TTHA names the Omni Dallas Hotel as the local accommodation and prints a nightly rate of $274 to $314. The booking cut-off is December 17, 2026. The Omni sits at 555 S Lamar St next to the convention center and holds 1,001 rooms. The reservation line is 214-744-6664.

Three nights in one room runs $822 to $942 at that rate, before tax, which the page does not publish. Two rooms for the same three nights run $1,644 to $1,884. Three nights is the count a booth crew needs. TTHA requires every exhibitor set up by the end of Thursday and forbids teardown before the Fire Marshal releases the hall on Sunday.

The convention center publishes 15,000+ hotel rooms in the walkable downtown core and 35,000+ across the city. Those rooms carry no published rate on the venue page. Our Dallas directory lists what each downtown property carries.

The three-day trip and the single day

One vehicle, one Omni room, three nights: $882 to $1,002 before tax and before the booth contract.

The three-day trip suits a two-person team. One buyer works the aisle while the other holds the booth, and the two spare badges cover a relief shift or a colleague who joins for Saturday. The venue lists the show in Exhibit Halls A, B and C plus the C Ballroom.

The single day suits a scout. Two people walk the floor, price a shortlist and leave, and pay $20 to park doing it. That trip holds no badges unless the team also holds a booth.

What goes into the request

Four items are unpublished and belong in the call to 210-523-8500: the 10x10 booth rate, whether staff beyond four can get badges, the Thursday move-in window, and the tax on the Omni block. TTHA says the move-in schedule arrives with the exhibitor kit.

Exhibitors with a booth larger than 10x20 book an appointment slot. The page carries two versions of that window, Wednesday in the resources block and Tuesday and Wednesday in the FAQ block. Ask which one applies. The marshaling yard is available for this show, per the FAQ.

Sunday night decides the third room night. TTHA forbids teardown until the show closes and the Fire Marshal gives the go-ahead, requires every exhibitor to clear the venue by 11 p.m. Sunday, and states on-site security ends at 5 p.m. Sunday. A two-person team that packs on Sunday evening needs the room or a driver who clears the hall before the security desk closes.

A crew that wants a negotiated block can price one against the published Omni band on our group rate calculator.
