Two show days in one hall
The Core-Mark Expo runs February 10-11, 2027 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225. The venue assigns the show to Exhibit Hall J-K and forecasts 1,500 attendees. February 10 is a Wednesday and February 11 is a Thursday, so the week divides into a Wednesday arrival and a Thursday return.
Registration runs through Core-Mark
Attendees register through Core-Mark’s regional expo portal rather than buying a ticket. One rule applies to the whole team: the FDA’s rules on tobacco products bar anyone under 21 from the show floor.
One request, one rooming list
Four staff in two double rooms is one booking. Submit one request with the room count, the room types and the nights. The rooms hold in one block under one confirmation, which lets a planner name occupants and control the release date.
bookMyTeam publishes the threshold that governs the request: most hotels offer group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, and some will discount from as few as 5 rooms depending on season and availability. A three-room request sits below that line. Send it anyway, because hotels quote terms to a block that arrives as a single submission. State the room count and the Friday-clear return date in the notes on the request form.
Approvals decide the arrival
A request reaches 50 or more hotels in the destination, and hotels typically respond within 24 to 72 hours. An approval that clears the Friday before still leaves time for offers before a Wednesday arrival. Staff who travel Wednesday morning reach the opening appointment block. Staff who travel Tuesday night are in the hall when the doors open.

Three events share the week
The venue’s own calendar lists three shows across the February 7-11 window. The Indiana Health and Safety Conference & Expo runs February 7-10 with a forecast 850. The Indiana Green Expo runs February 8-10 with a forecast 2,000. The Core-Mark Expo runs February 10-11 with a forecast 1,500. February 10 is the closing day of the first two and the opening day of the third. Lucas Oil Stadium, on the same campus, runs Monster Jam on February 6 and 7.
Downtown carries 7,100 hotel rooms. The venue reports 4,700 rooms connected to the Convention Center by skywalk, and puts lockdown at approximately 11:00 p.m. with reopening at approximately 6:00 a.m., event-dependent. Three shows in one week favour booking the Wednesday night early.
Room nights and the rate
No Core-Mark Expo rate is published for the 2027 dates. bookMyTeam states a benchmark of 15-40% below rack rates, and its own pages describe the band against more than one base: the how-it-works page and the homepage feature list say below rack rates, the homepage glossary says below the Best Available Rate, and the homepage FAQ says compared to individual bookings. Treat the band as a benchmark for the offers a block attracts, and confirm the base of any quoted discount.
Run the room side on your own example rate and label it as yours. Four staff in two double rooms for two nights is 4 room-nights. At $200 a night the block is $800, at 15% off it is $680, and at 40% off it is $480. One night instead of two halves those figures. Every number in the example is a planner input rather than a published rate.
Close Thursday, keep Friday
The expo ends Thursday February 11, so a Thursday return leaves Friday February 12 clear for the store. One night at two doubles covers a Wednesday check-in and a Thursday check-out. Add the Tuesday night only when an early Wednesday appointment earns it.
