$239 buys five runners one entry
The BMW Dallas Marathon weekend runs December 11 to 13, 2026. The 5K Team Challenge starts Saturday, December 12 at 8:10 a.m. alongside the 5K, from Dallas City Hall Plaza at 1500 Marilla Street.
Published Tier 3 pricing lists the 5K Team Challenge at $239 for five members. A single adult 5K entry costs $59. Five separate entries cost $295. One team entry saves the company $56 and puts all five runners on one record.
The rest of the ladder: 5K youth at $15 for ages 12 and under, 10K adults at $69, 10K youth at $20, and the Kids 100M Dash at $5.
Cumulative time across three divisions
The event description reads: the 5K Team event will be the cumulative time of the 5 runners, with three divisions to enter. The divisions are all female, all male and co-ed. A co-ed team needs at least two female or two male runners.
Every leg counts. A slow runner costs the team as much as a fast runner gains it, so the choice of five matters more than any single entry.
The course covers 3.1 miles through Downtown and into Deep Ellum with minimal turns. The time limit is one hour, a 20-minute-per-mile pace or better.
One captain, one Friday window
The event states that the team captain picks up all of the team's participant shirts at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, December 11.
The expo runs in Exhibit Hall A at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 650 S Griffin Street. Published hours are Friday, December 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
No packet pickup runs on race morning. A captain who cannot leave the office on Friday sends a delegate with the team's confirmations. Either way the shirts leave the building before 6 p.m.
The entry includes an ASICS Tri-Blend short-sleeve participant shirt, a personalized race bib for anyone registered by October 31, a finishers medallion, and admission to the post-race party with food, beverages and complimentary beer for participants 21 and older. Overall awards go to the top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K.
Transfers close October 31
Transfers run through October 31, 2026, on the Race Roster dashboard, using the transfer button beside the registration, and only while the event has capacity. The fee is $15. Sunday is sold out, so Saturday carries the company
The Sunday pricing table marks the Marathon, the Half Marathon in both the run and walk divisions, the 50K Ultra Marathon and the Legacy Runner entry as Sold Out. Sunday events start at 8:00 a.m. on December 13.
A company that wants staff on the course this year works with Saturday's set: the 10K at 8:00 a.m., the 5K and 5K Team at 8:10 a.m., the 5K Walk at 8:15 a.m., the Kids 100M Dash at 10:00 a.m. and the Oncor Kids Race at 11:00 a.m.
Rooms at the Omni headquarters block
The event names the Omni Dallas Hotel at 555 S Lamar Street, Dallas, Texas 75202, phone (214) 744-6664, as its official headquarters hotel. It states that special room rates are reserved at several nearby hotels and directs bookings through its own link. No nightly figure is published, so the property confirms the rate and the cancellation terms.
The event also names Aloft Dallas Downtown at 1033 Young Street, (214) 761-0000; Hyatt Regency Dallas at 300 Reunion Boulevard, (214) 651-1234; and two properties at 555 Evergreen Street, TownePlace Suites Dallas Downtown, (214) 749-5155, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Downtown, (214) 573-6555.
Five rooms for two nights is 10 room-nights. At a planning rate of $150 a night the block costs $1,500. The bookMyTeam group-rate calculator defaults to a 10 percent discount and states that the platform regularly secures 15 to 30 percent. At 30 percent the same block costs $1,050. At 15 percent it costs $1,275. Treat the $150 as a planning input and confirm it with the property. The bookMyTeam Dallas directory lists 790 hotels for the request.
Getting five people to Marilla Street
DART's Akard Station is the closest train stop to the start and finish line, per the event's travel page. Dallas Love Field sits 20 to 30 minutes from the Omni headquarters hotel. A crew flying into DFW allows at least 45 minutes.
Downtown Dallas has paid parking only. At the convention center, the ACE Parking garage at Memorial Drive and S Griffin Street charges $20 per day per entry with no in and out, and Lot C at 502 S Lamar Street charges $17. Both run first-come, first-served.
