Crafty Wonderland opens its Holiday Art + Craft Market in Hall D at the Oregon Convention Center on Friday 11 December. The market runs to Sunday 13 December.
The Friday First Pick Party costs $25 a person. Each ticket includes one drink at the cash bar, and the organiser values that drink at $15. The party runs 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday trade 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend entry costs $4 a person and carries a timed entry hour. Children aged 5 and under enter free.
Six tickets and one outing
Six colleagues buy the Friday party for $150. The drinks inside those tickets come to $90. The remaining $60 buys four hours in the hall.
The same six return on Saturday for $24. Both days of tickets cost the group $174.
The visit needs two hotel nights. Friday puts the team in the district before the Saturday opening. Sunday is a checkout morning.
A full floor and a second show
Two counts describe the floor. The venue event page reads "over 250 talented artists, crafters + designers". The Eventbrite listing reads "over 275 makers".
The floor is fixed. Vendor applications closed on 22 August. Booth space ran $425 for 5 by 10 feet and $575 for 10 by 10 feet.
Scan Fair fills Halls A-A1 on the same Saturday and Sunday. The December calendar also lists the American Northwest Nationals in Hall D on 5 and 6 December and the Oregon Business Plan Leadership Summit on 7 December.
Two public shows share one garage, one light rail stop and one Saturday night. Send the room request early in that week.
The request for three rooms
bookMyTeam publishes group pricing against a block of 10 or more rooms a night. The same page states that some hotels discount from five rooms depending on season and availability.
Six people in three rooms sit below the block. Send the request and read the answer. The reply tells the planner whether a five-room floor applies that weekend.
One request reaches 50 or more hotels in the destination. Submission is free. Replies arrive inside 24 to 72 hours, and the guest pays the hotel directly at the quoted rate.
The published band runs 15 to 40 percent below rack rates.

The booking order
Buy the Friday tickets first. The organiser limits the count, reports a sell-out last year, and opened sales on 15 October.
Hold Friday and Saturday on a cancellable rate second. Ask for the Sunday checkout hour in writing third.
The Eventbrite listing reads "No refunds". The room holds the flexibility in this booking.
