The Fertilizer Show runs 18 and 19 November 2026 in the West Hall of the Tampa Convention Center at 333 S Franklin St. Registration is free. The organiser's registration page lists the free pass as covering the exhibition hall, the two-track conference on the show floor and the post-show conference presentations. The organiser counts 90-plus exhibitors and 1,200-plus attendees across two days.
Three attendees, zero registration
Registration for three staff is $0. The budget lines that remain are rooms, travel, meals and the stand. The stand sits outside the registration system and carries its own price, which the organiser does not publish.
Six room-nights at $209
Event Partners, the show owner, has named Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown as the headquarters hotel. The published rate is $209 per night plus applicable taxes. The organiser describes the property as a 12-minute walk from the convention center.
Three staff over two nights is six room-nights. Six times $209 is $1,254 before taxes and before meals. Room cost per head is $418.
The walk holds up against routing. OpenStreetMap foot routing from 325 N Florida Avenue to 333 S Franklin Street measures 843.9 metres, or 0.52 miles, at about 11 minutes. The organiser's 12-minute figure and the routed figure agree.
Book by 2 November with code G-DFE1
Reservations at the group rate must be made no later than 2 November 2026. The booking button on the accommodation page opens the dedicated attendee rate page. A phone booking needs the group code G-DFE1 and +1 813-616-1234.
The cut-off falls 16 days before the opening session. The rate carries free internet, fitness centre access, an onsite restaurant and an outdoor pool.
One change affects anyone holding a room at the previous headquarters property. Hotel Tampa Riverwalk goes into renovation in November. The organiser states that existing reservations there transfer automatically to Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown and that the guest takes no action.
Size the stand before the rooms
The 2026 floorplan inquiry form lists eight stand sizes: 100, 200, 400, 600, 800, 900, 1,200 and 1,600 square feet. The top size is 16 times the bottom size.
Room count follows stand area. Three people on a 100 square foot stand hold 33.3 square feet each. The same three on a 1,600 square foot stand hold 533 square feet each. Each additional staffer on the same two nights adds two room-nights and $418 at the block rate, and takes the block to eight room-nights and $1,672.
Set the stand size first. Set the crew second. Set the rooms last, because the room number is the only one that moves cleanly with a crew change.
What the organiser does not publish
The floorplan page carries the size list and an inquiry form, and no price per square foot. Stand cost arrives through the exhibition team: Patrick King on +44 (0)1273 089243, or Matt Pennington on +44 (0)1273 089244.
Put four items in that one enquiry: the stand price, the shell scheme, the power draw and the exhibitor badge allowance. A free attendee pass covers attendance. Exhibitor credentials are a separate allowance and the site publishes no count.
Two nights against the show clock
The exhibition hall runs 9:00am to 5:30pm on Wednesday 18 November. The conference runs 9:25am to 4:30pm that day, and the networking reception runs 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Thursday's hall runs 9:00am to 3:00pm, with the conference 9:30am to 2:30pm.
A Tuesday 17 November arrival puts the crew in the city the night before a 9:00am opening. A Thursday 19 November departure means checkout on the final show morning, with the bags leaving the room three hours before the hall closes at 3:00pm.
A third night fixes that gap. Nine room-nights at $209 is $1,881 against $1,254 for six, a difference of $627.
Parking and the walk
The City of Tampa publishes $3 for the first hour, $3 for each hour after and an $18 daily maximum at the Convention Center, Fort Brooke and Pam Iorio garages. Twiggs runs $2, $2 and a $14 maximum. The Parking Division may charge a flat rate at its discretion. A daily maximum resets after a vehicle exits the facility.
Two days at the $18 maximum is $36. A crew at the Hyatt Place parks once on arrival and walks, and the walking figure is 0.52 miles.
The question to put to Event Partners
Free registration changes the arithmetic of an exhibition budget. Three free passes return the full attendee fee against a room spend of $1,254. Ask the organiser what the free pass returns for an exhibiting company: how many exhibitor badges come with the stand, whether those badges carry conference access, and whether stand staff receive the post-show presentation archive.
bookMyTeam lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states and puts a request in front of 50+ hotels per destination, with contract-ready room blocks and a stated 15-40% off rack rates. The platform lists Florida among the four states it cannot serve today, beside Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, because those states require seller-of-travel registration. A Tampa block sits outside that platform's reach at present, so the $209 rate is the comparison to run before 2 November.
