What $6,000 buys

FOG Design+Art runs Thursday, January 21 through Sunday, January 24, 2027 at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture in San Francisco. The fair occupies Piers 2 and 3. Its membership arm, FOG FORUM, sells a bundle that turns a January art trip into a firm-level booking.

FOG FORUM+ costs $6,000. SFMOMA lists the benefits on its own page. A one-year SFMOMA Corporate Membership brings free museum admission and invitations to events through the year. Four tickets to the Preview Gala carry early entry at 5 p.m. Twenty tickets to the fair cover a whole team. Two tickets go to a dedicated reception for FOG FORUM members at the fair, and two more go to an SFMOMA event for FOG FORUM members at the museum. The package also carries a curator-led tour of FOG Design+Art, brand recognition on the fair's media wall, and one colour full page in the FOG Design+Art catalogue.

The base level at half the price

FOG FORUM costs $3,000. It carries two Preview Gala tickets with early entry at 5 p.m., ten fair tickets, two tickets to the members' reception at the fair, two tickets to the SFMOMA event, and one colour half page in the catalogue. The $6,000 level doubles the gala and fair tickets, adds the corporate membership and adds the curator-led tour.

FOG FORUM is founded and chaired by FOG Steering Committee member Douglas Durkin. It engages architects, industrial designers, interior designers, landscape architects and residential contractors.

Twenty tickets across nine days

The fair itself is four days. San Francisco Art Week runs wider. The fourth edition of SF Art Week opens January 16 and closes January 24, 2027, nine days in total. Museums, galleries, non-profits and creative spaces host events across the city through the week. A team arriving on the Saturday before the fair takes in the week and the fair on one trip.

The gala sits on the Wednesday

The Preview Gala runs Wednesday, January 20, 2027 at Fort Mason Center, from 4 to 10 p.m. on tiered entry. All Preview Gala guests must be 21 or older. Sales are final and tickets are nonrefundable.

FOG FORUM+ carries four gala seats at 5 p.m. entry. The gala's own package ladder prices four seats with 4:30 p.m. entry at $6,000 on the Gold Circle tier. It prices two seats with 5 p.m. entry at $3,000 on the Silver Circle tier. Bronze packages and above carry multiday fair access. Supporter tickets are $300 per person with entry from 7 to 10 p.m. Gala questions go to fogpreviewgala@sfmoma.org or 415.618.3263.

What a single fair ticket costs

The fair's ticket page publishes the general admission ladder. A single-day ticket runs $35 in advance and $40 after the advance window closes. A four-day pass runs $95 in advance and $100 after it. Tickets cover entry to FOG Design+Art and FOG FOCUS, and they include access to FOG Talks. The page still carries the 2026 show dates and prices, and it states that the next edition goes on sale in mid-November. Treat the figures as the fair's published ladder and confirm them when the 2027 page opens.

Two rates sit outside the general ladder. Children 12 and under enter free and do not require a ticket. A student single-day rate of $5 applies in person only, against a valid student ID at the FOG registration desk. Self-guided tour packages cover up to 20 guests on the Thursday and the Friday of the fair, and they must be arranged in advance with fair approval. Requests go to fog@fogfair.com.

The catalogue deadline is November 13

Both membership levels include a page in the FOG Design+Art catalogue, and the deadline is fixed. Submissions must be digital, they must reach fogforum@sfmoma.org by November 13, 2026, and they are subject to the approval of the FOG Steering Committee. The full page builds to a trimmed size of 5.5 by 8.5 inches with a live area of 4.5 by 7.5 inches, and placed images must be 300 dpi. A firm that wants the page has to buy the membership before that date.

The room side

The fair publishes no room block and no nightly rate. Fort Mason Center sits at 2 Marina Boulevard, with the campus office at Buchanan Street. A bookmyteam.org request covers the shortfall. The platform publishes a 15% to 40% group savings band, 103,857+ hotels across 46 states and responses inside 24 to 72 hours, with no added commission on the booking rate.

Put four questions to each property before the block is signed. Ask for the nightly rate by room type, the number of rooms held, the date the block closes, and the release clause for unused rooms. A nine-day art week extends the stay, so price the block against the January calendar.
