Three day-parts that set the budget

Longhorn State Tattoo Expo 2026 fills Exhibit Hall B at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 650 South Griffin Street, from Friday October 30 to Sunday November 1. The organiser publishes three day-parts: Friday 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday noon to midnight, Sunday noon to 7 p.m. Shine and Deanna James host the show, Sullen presents it, and the venue lists live entertainment, tattoo contests and seminars. The Eventbrite listing admits all ages, lets children under 12 in free, and refunds up to seven days before the event.

A four-person crew covers this floor with two artists, a booth hand and a runner. Two of the three nights end at midnight. The Sunday 7 p.m. close leaves the evening open to break the booth and drive home.

Parking at $20 and $17

ACE Parking runs both venue lots. The garage sits at Memorial Drive and South Griffin Street, holds 1,200 cars over two levels, and charges $20 per day per entry. Lot C sits at 502 South Lamar Street, holds 170 cars, and charges $17 per day per entry. Both price per entry with no in-and-out, and both fill first come.

Three show days cost $60 per vehicle in the garage and $51 in Lot C. Two vehicles run $120 or $102 across the weekend.

Friday carries two shows. Win the Storm runs in Exhibit Hall C and the C Ballroom through October 30, so the building holds two events on the expo opening day. The garage absorbs both crowds and Lot C holds 170 cars. Park before 8 a.m. on Friday, or leave the vehicles at the hotel.

The no-in-and-out rule decides the evening. A car that leaves for dinner pays again on return. With doors open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, the cheaper pattern is transit or a shuttle for dinner and the car parked until the hall closes.

Getting to the hall without the car

The venue names Dallas Area Rapid Transit as its public transport option. DART runs rail and bus into downtown. Confirm the last Sunday service before the crew books a return.

Wi-Fi, printing and cash

The venue offers free Wi-Fi in all common areas and meeting rooms, run with Visit Dallas and Smart City Networks. The network appears as "Free Internet" on a device. That covers booth card payments and order check-ins.

Printing runs through one point: the UPS Business Center inside the adjacent Omni Dallas Hotel. The venue has no on-site business centre. Booth signage, shipping labels and printed certificates come from the Omni, so put that errand on Friday morning before the 4 p.m. open.

The building is cashless. ATMs sit at Level 2 A Lobby and Level 2 C Lobby. Select exhibitors accept cash, so carry a small float.

Two nights, two rooms

The expo site carries no hotel page and publishes no negotiated rate. Its menu points at a Hyatt group-booking link, and that page returns an error, so the crew quote comes from the property.

Two nights, Friday and Saturday, fit the published hours. The crew lands Friday morning, works both midnight closes, and checks out Sunday before the 7 p.m. finish. At a planning rate of $169 a night, two rooms for two nights cost $676.

The bookMyTeam Dallas directory lists 790 hotels across the metro. The group rate calculator publishes a working band of 15 to 30 percent below standard rates. A rate request puts two rooms in front of several downtown properties at once, and the booking process opens with the walk distance, so name Exhibit Hall B in the request.

The per-head budget

Parking: two vehicles for three days, $120 in the garage or $102 in Lot C. Hotel: two rooms for two nights at the example $169 rate, $676. Ground total $796, or $199 per person.

Two lines sit outside that figure. Air is priced separately, and the expo publishes no airline code. Tickets run $36.64 to $71.30 on the Eventbrite listing, which puts four at $146.56 to $285.20.

Booking order

Reserve two rooms for Friday and Saturday, and ask about the walk to Exhibit Hall B in the same request. Book the garage for the three days if the crew carries stock, or Lot C if the vehicles arrive before 8 a.m. Hold the car from dinner and take transit back. Print at the Omni on Friday morning. Load a card for the building and carry a small cash float.

A crew that books rooms and parking in the same week holds the ground cost at $199 per person. Air and tickets are the two lines left to price.
