GU27 Runs February 11 to 13 at Moscone West

The 2027 ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium takes place Thursday February 11 through Saturday February 13, 2027 at Moscone West in San Francisco. The venue's own event record carries the same three dates, the same building and a digital attendance option.

A department sending four or five clinicians can treat this as a travel booking. ASCO's registration terms turn it into a short list of deadlines and permissions, and three of those terms decide whether the trip returns meeting content or a receipt.

The Group Deadline Is Wednesday December 16

Hotel reservations and early registration share one cutoff: 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday December 16, 2026. ASCO publishes reservations made after that date as processed on a space-available basis and subject to higher rates. Registration stays open through 3:00 p.m. PT on Saturday February 13, 2027, the closing day of the meeting.

ASCO publishes separate in-person and online-only fee ladders, each with more than one tier before the meeting opens. The symposium's own registration page carries the current table.

Every Registrant Needs a Working Inbox

ASCO's group registration terms require every registrant to have access to the email account submitted with the registration. Each line must carry the correct ASCO ID or a valid, unique and accessible email address. ASCO states the consequence directly: an incorrect or fake email leaves that attendee unable to access online meeting products.

The meeting runs in person and online at the same time, and ASCO states that it needs to communicate directly with all registered attendees, group registrants included, to ensure access to content and to send updates on content release and customer service. The same terms state that ASCO reserves the right to contact group registrants directly for those purposes.

Collect a separate address for each clinician before the registration file is built, and keep it reachable through March. A shared clinic inbox leaves one person's content access behind another person's password.

Registration Is Cashless

ASCO runs the symposium cashless. A department that needs to pay in cash must contact ASCO's Meetings team ahead of the meeting and arrange it in advance.

Cancellations Close February 7

The registration cancellation deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday February 7, 2027. A cancellation filed before it is eligible for a refund subject to a $75 administrative fee. ASCO states that registrations are nonrefundable after that date, that registrations cannot be substituted or transferred, and that payments cannot move between registrations.

Attendance type stays open until the same date. A registrant switching from in person to online-only receives the difference back, and one switching the other way pays it.

Group Rooms Run Through One Desk

ASCO's hotel terms route group room blocks through the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium Customer Service Center. The center's live block page takes requests by email at guhousing@spargoinc.com and publishes hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern. Its published address is 11208 Waples Mill Road, Suite 112, Fairfax, VA 22030, with a phone line for callers inside the United States at 888-788-1522 and one for callers outside it at +1-571-549-4515.

Individual hotel reservations close at the same December 16 cutoff and are processed on a space-available basis after it.

SPARGO, Inc. is the only official registration and housing provider for ASCO meetings and symposia, and ASCO carries a fraud alert about third-party sites that offer registration and hotel rooms.

Rooms for the Rest of the Party

The venue publishes no room inventory of its own, so every attendee books a property through ASCO's housing provider or with a hotel directly.

bookMyTeam lists 562 hotels in San Francisco and sends one request to competing properties, with hotels typically responding within 24 to 72 hours. Most hotels offer group rates for 10 or more rooms per night, and some discount for as few as five rooms depending on season and availability. The platform publishes group savings of 15 to 40 percent, the request carries no fee, and the hotel is paid directly. A department of five clinicians can price the block on the group rate calculator and file it at /rfp/submit.
