Four days at 333 S Franklin St

HYROX Tampa runs Thursday, October 22 through Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S Franklin St. The City of Tampa lists the event as indoor and open to the public. HYROX calls Tampa its first competition in the city.

Athletes run one kilometre, complete one workout station, and repeat the pair eight times. The course covers the East, Central and West exhibit halls.

Doubles run all four days

HYROX marks the schedule provisional. The published windows set the travel decision.

Thursday, October 22: doubles men 10:00 to 12:00, doubles women 12:30 to 15:20, doubles mixed 18:20 to 20:30.

Friday, October 23: doubles men 13:10 to 14:20, doubles mixed 14:40 to 15:50, doubles women 16:20 to 17:30.

Saturday, October 24: doubles mixed 12:40 to 17:40, pro doubles women 18:00 to 18:50, pro doubles men 19:20 to 20:30.

Sunday, October 25: doubles women 08:00 to 12:00, doubles men 16:50 to 19:30.

Relay heats run Friday evening: men 19:40 to 19:50, mixed 20:00 to 20:10, women 20:20 to 20:30. Relay ceremonies run at 22:15.

The relay briefing starts at 18:40 on the Awards Stage. The Awards Stage takes a spectator check-in with an athlete ticket. Athlete check-in opens 90 minutes before an assigned start time.

Five nights covers two entries

A five-night booking runs Wednesday, October 21 to Monday, October 26. HYROX links a housing portal from its event page, and the portal opens on that window by default.

The portal prices the Tampa market live. A search for October 21 to 26 returned 199 properties inside 30 miles. Eight sit inside one mile, with 54 rooms between them. The cheapest near-venue rate belongs to The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk at 0.97 miles, $243.28 a night and $1,465.36 for the five nights. Hilton Tampa Downtown at 0.45 miles lists 21 rooms at $378.20 a night and $2,428.40 for the five nights. The Tampa EDITION at 0.34 miles lists $2,509 a night.

Those totals include taxes, mandatory property fees and a $15 per-night reservation fee that the portal collects.

Two rooms carry a four-person squad. Two rooms at the Barrymore total $2,930.72 for the five nights. Two rooms at Hilton Tampa Downtown total $4,856.80.

One relay heat needs Thursday and Friday nights plus a Saturday flight. One Thursday doubles heat needs three nights and a Friday flight. The five-night block pays for nights a single-entry squad never uses.

The entry sits behind the ticket shop

The HYROX event page publishes no price for a doubles or relay entry. It links to a ticket shop, and the price appears in the purchase flow.

HYROX publishes team figures for its charity route. The Race for Impact minimum is $600 per doubles team and $1,000 per relay team. A single entry carries a $400 minimum. A team that misses its minimum loses charity ticket access in later seasons.

The name-change rule sets the roster

Every ticket allows one name change, cut off at 7:59 a.m. in the event time zone on the day before the race. For a Thursday start that date is Wednesday, October 21.

The FLEX add-on adds a refund. With FLEX a team recovers 100 percent until 31 days before its race day and 50 percent until seven days before. For Thursday heats those dates were September 21 and October 15, 2026. A team selects FLEX at purchase and cannot add it later.

HYROX accepts no event transfers and no division changes for the 2026/27 season. The division on the ticket holds.

Parking and the entrance

Parking sits on the ground level of the facility, first come and first served. A car cannot enter the venue from the garage. Every attendee uses the Riverwalk Entrance on the south side at 333 S Franklin St, and the walkway to the Embassy Suites stays shut for this event.

All attendees pass metal detection and a bag search. An 08:00 start needs a door time before 07:00.

The city publishes two rate structures. The event rate is a flat $5.00 to $50.00 across six facilities: the Convention Center garage at 141 E Brorein St, Pam Iorio at 301 Channelside Dr, Fort Brooke at 107 N Franklin St, the Selmon Expressway West lot at 201 S Ashley Dr, William F. Poe at 802 N Ashley Dr and Twiggs Street at 901 E Twiggs St. The non-event rate runs $3 an hour with an $18 daily maximum at the Convention Center, Pam Iorio, Fort Brooke and Poe. Twiggs and Selmon West run $2 an hour with a $14 maximum.

Which start keeps the office covered

Office days follow the heat, and each count runs from published start and finish times.

Saturday mixed doubles, 12:40 to 17:40, falls on a weekend. A squad flies out Friday evening, races Saturday and flies home Sunday. That plan costs no workday.

Friday relays cost one workday. The 18:40 briefing puts the squad in the building through Friday afternoon, and the last relay finishes at 20:30.

Sunday women's doubles, 08:00 to 12:00, allows a Sunday afternoon flight and costs no workday. Sunday men's doubles, 16:50 to 19:30, costs the Monday return.

Thursday doubles cost two workdays: Thursday for the heat and Friday for the return.

What goes on the approval form

Five lines cover the ask: entry, rooms, parking, ground transport and the charity minimum.

Two rooms for the five nights run $2,930.72 at the Barrymore and $4,856.80 at Hilton Tampa Downtown. Parking runs on the event band the city publishes, so the figure comes from the garage on arrival. Entry comes off the ticket shop at purchase, and the charity minimum applies to a team that takes the charity route.

A five-night block against a single heat pays for nights the squad will not use.
