Ten show days in two buildings at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
The Indianapolis Home Show runs Jan. 15-24, 2027 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205. The show occupies Expo Hall and the West Pavilion, and Marketplace Events produces it.
The published daily hours total 90 across the ten days. Friday Jan. 15, Saturday Jan. 16, Friday Jan. 22 and Saturday Jan. 23 run 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday Jan. 17 and Sunday Jan. 24 run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday Jan. 18 through Thursday Jan. 21 run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The exhibitor page advertises "100 hours of exposure in front of qualified customers and prospects." The hours the show itself prints add to 90. Build the crew rota on the printed schedule.
Price the stand before the crew
Four space sizes are published. A 10' x 10' is $2,699. A 10' x 20' is $5,398. An 18' x 20' is $7,124. A 20' x 20' is $7,916. A direct sell rate of $250 per 10' x 10' applies to a stand that sells to the public on the floor, and a corner rate of $250 per corner applies where the space takes a corner.
Three charges stack on the space price. A 1-500 watt electrical outlet is $25.00 and is marked required. An exhibitor listing is $199 and is marked required. A new exhibitor marketing package is $100 and applies to a first-time exhibitor.
That puts a 10' x 10' at $3,023 for a first-time exhibitor and $2,923 on a return visit. A 20' x 20' lands at $8,240 first time and $8,140 afterwards. A first-time 20' x 20' with a corner reaches $8,490.
What the amenities package carries
Contracted space includes standard pipe and drape with an 8' high back wall and 3' side walls, an 11" x 17" company identification sign, 24-hour security, exhibitor identification badges, parking passes, promotion, a Show Guide listing, a website listing, VIP tickets and discounted admission tickets. Aisle carpeting, professional on-site management and a non-union facility are listed as advantages. The Show Guide listing follows a contract that reaches the organiser by its deadline.
Two of those allowances are published in the show's own exhibitor manual. Five badges and five complimentary tickets come with 300 square feet or less. Ten of each come with 301 square feet or more, and the ticket count stops at ten. Additional badges cost $10.00 each and additional tickets $7.50 each, both from the show office. Badges, tickets and parking passes are released once the account is paid in full, and the parking passes are issued at the show office. A vehicle without a pass pays $10.00 to park.
Flooring is required for every booth. Fern Expo is the show decorator and an advance purchase discount is offered. The kit on the site is titled the 2026 edition and its sampling form deadline reads Friday, Dec. 11, 2025, so confirm the current cut-offs with the show office.
Ninety public hours needs more than one body
A three-person rota across 90 hours is 270 person-hours. A two-person rota is 180. The badge count comes from the contracted space, so the rota and the badge count have to be settled together.
Where the crew sleeps
The show publishes two hotels and no rate for either. Hampton Inn Indianapolis-N.E./Castleton sits at 6817 E. 82nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Candlewood Suites Indianapolis Northeast By IHG sits at 8111 Bash Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250. The show also lists Lazy Sunday Rentals, an Indianapolis vacation rental company that takes 10% off a direct booking with the code LAZYINDYHOMESHOW, and the State Fairgrounds RV campground at $40 plus tax per day with a hook-up, on (317) 927-7500.
With no published nightly rate, price the room side on a labelled example. Six colleagues in three double rooms across the ten show nights book 30 room-nights. At $200 a night that is $6,000 before tax. Across the 15-40% group band bookMyTeam publishes, that is $5,100 to $3,600, or $850 to $600 a head. Add a Jan. 14 setup night and the count is 33 room-nights, $6,600, or $5,610 to $3,960. Put the real quote through the group rate calculator once it arrives, because the $200 is the example's own input and not a Fairgrounds rate.
Parking, and who pays for it
Attendee parking is $10 per vehicle, with the Expo Hall lot, the infield and the strip across 38th Street listed as available. Parking passes come inside the exhibitor amenities package. The FAQ page lists free parking Monday to Wednesday, Jan. 19-21, and that line carries a 2026 date, so confirm the 2027 window with the show office. A trailer and box truck parking map is linked from the exhibitor kit.
What to put in the request
Two counts stay unanswered on the site: the number of parking passes that comes with the space, and the confirmed free-parking window for 2027. Ask for both with the booth quote. Send the whole list through the team rate request form, and read how the request process works before you file it. The Indianapolis directory lists 273 properties, with 21 more in Fishers.
Price the stand first. The crew plan follows from the booth size, and the badge count follows from the stand.
