Five Volunteers, Two Vehicles: Pricing a Ministry Team Trip

Mario Murillo Ministries brings the Living Proof Miami Crusade to the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds for four nights, February 7 through 10, 2027. Services begin at 6:30 PM EST each night. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Admission is free and seating is first-come.

Five volunteers travelling together need four nights of rooms, two vehicles, and a meal plan that fits a 9 PM close. The fairgrounds sit at 10901 SW 24th Street, Miami, FL 33165. The venue's own footer prints the same address as 10901 Coral Way.

Four Nights on the Grounds

The run opens Sunday, February 7 and closes Wednesday, February 10. The venue's own events calendar lists the crusade as 6:30 PM to 9 PM on the grounds.

The venue is the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition at 10901 SW 24th Street, Miami, FL 33165. The main line is 305.223.7060.

The Five-Person Volunteer Sign-Up

Volunteer sign-ups for this crusade are not open yet. The ministry's crusade page reads: "Volunteer sign-ups for this crusade will open soon; watch this page for details." Plan the trip now and register the crew when the form goes live.

The crusade's volunteer record lists four serving nights, Sunday February 7 through Wednesday February 10. The ministry's volunteer form carries a four-guest cap, which makes one lead plus four people the working shape of the team.

Eleven positions are published: Altar / Prayer Team, Ushers, Greeters / Welcome Team, Hospitality, Setup / Teardown, Media / Tech, Worship Support, Translation (Spanish), Security / Parking, Children's Ministry, and Wherever I'm needed most.

The ministry asks for no prior experience. The team trains volunteers on site, and the requirement is arrival on time for the assigned nights. Security / Parking fits a crew arriving in two vehicles.

Two Rooms or Three

Five people and four nights means two rooms with three and two, or three rooms with singles. Book check-in Sunday February 7 and check-out Thursday February 11. Four room nights per room, eight in total on the two-room plan.

Two vehicles carry five people and their gear. The grounds publish permanent overhead lighting throughout, 22 acres of asphalt, and five vehicle entrances.

The 6:30 Service and the Meal After Nine

The venue board carries a 9 PM finish, and the service starts at 6:30 PM. A serving crew is on the grounds before the doors open, so the evening meal falls after the service. Nine o'clock is the earliest sitting.

The Lot off Coral Way

The venue publishes five vehicle entrances: SW 112th Avenue and Coral Way, SW 114th Avenue and Coral Way, SW 22nd Street and 117th Avenue, SW 21st Street and 117th Avenue, and SW 107th Avenue and SW 17th Street. The rideshare drop-off sits at Coral Way and 112th Avenue.

The same page carries a caveat. Those entrances and drop-off points apply to the annual Youth Fair and may not apply to Fair Expo Center events through the year. Send one vehicle ahead to the gate the venue assigns, and put the question to the rental desk before the trip. Sira Camilo, Director of the Fair Expo Center, is on (786) 315-5266 and scamilo@fairexpo.com.

The grounds publish water, sewer, electrical and phone connections, permanent overhead lighting, restrooms and shower facilities, and a non-union site. No parking price is published for this event.

What the Week Costs

The Miami Grit Classic takes the same fairgrounds four days later, February 12 to 15, 2027, and runs its own block through Team Travel Source. That block lists ten properties from $190 to $289 a night, between 3.71 and 11.68 miles from the fairgrounds. Holiday Inn Miami West - Airport Area prices four nights at $209, $209, $190 and $190, which totals $798 a room.

Two rooms at that figure come to $1,596 for the week, or $319.20 per volunteer. Three rooms come to $2,394. Those are another event's contracted rates for the same building four days later. Treat them as a planning figure and put the request in for this week.

What Goes in the Request

Send two rooms, check-in Sunday February 7, check-out Thursday February 11, four nights. Ask for two beds per room and a property within reach of 10901 SW 24th Street.

bookMyTeam publishes its group threshold at 10 or more rooms per night and notes that some properties discount from as few as five rooms depending on season and availability. Five people in two or three rooms sits under both numbers, so the request goes out as a small group and the offers come back against the stay.

Name the group type as Revival / Crusade on the form. Add the two-vehicle count and ask about parking on site, because the venue publishes no lot price for this event. Ask for an 11 AM checkout or bag storage on the Thursday, since the crew clears the grounds after the Wednesday night service.

Submit the stay on the bookMyTeam RFP form, price the stay on the group rate calculator, and compare the offers against the $798 four-night figure above. One request reaches more than 50 hotels, offers arrive within 24 to 72 hours, and the group pays the property directly.
