One address for eight days

Miami Book Fair runs November 15 to 22, 2026, at Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus, 300 NE Second Ave., Miami, FL 33132. The whole November programme sits at that address, so a team holds one base and walks to its sessions.

The Fair dates its first edition to 1984 and describes itself as the largest, longest-running literary festival in the nation. Its FAQ says hundreds of authors present in November, in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.

The Street Fair is the paid weekend

The FAQ states that almost all programming is free, with a few exceptions. The three-day Street Fair closes the festival and requires a ticket. Street Fair dates are Friday, November 20, through Sunday, November 22. Friday is free for everyone. Saturday runs 10am to 7pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm, with gates at 9am on all three days.

The published ladder: single day adult $12, senior $7 for anyone over 62, teen $5 for ages 13 to 18. Multiday adult $18, senior $12, teen $8. Children 12 and under enter free. Miami Dade College students, faculty and staff enter free with a valid MDC ID.

The multiday ticket

Two single adult days cost $24 against $18 for the multiday pass. Three single days cost $36.

Ten staff on multiday tickets come to $180. Ten staff on three single-day tickets come to $360. The difference is $180.

A team that brings families pays $18 per adult and nothing for each child under 12.

What the ticket covers

Almost all programming is free, with exceptions. Some Evenings With sessions carry a cost, and the FAQ notes that those often include a copy of the book being presented. A handful of weekend author sessions also carry a cost. The rest of the published programme runs free.

Books come from the Fair's partner, Books & Books. Signings are scheduled for many presenting authors during Street Fair weekend.

Seven nights of rooms

November 15 to November 22 is seven nights. Miami-Dade's year-to-date average daily rate through August 2026 was $261.54, per STR data reported through the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Use it as the planning input and replace it with the quotes that return.

Five double rooms at $261.54 come to $1,307.70 a night and $9,153.90 for seven nights. On ten travellers the room line is $915.39 a head. Ten rooms come to $18,307.80 for the same seven nights.

Add ten multiday tickets at $18 to the five-room build and the trip lands at $9,333.90, or $933.39 a head.

Five rooms sit below the group threshold. bookMyTeam's glossary defines a group rate as a negotiated block of 10 or more rooms and puts group rates 15 to 40 per cent below the best available rate. Ask for the ten-room rate and ask the property whether it will quote five double rooms on the same terms.

Parking, and two published windows

The Fair publishes free parking at the MDC Wolfson Campus Parking Garage, 500 NE Second Ave. The entrance is on NE Fifth Street between First and Second avenues, one block from the closest entrance.

Two Fair pages give two windows for it. The overview page and the FAQ read Sunday, November 15, to Sunday, November 22. The Directions & Parking page reads Sunday, November 16, to Sunday, November 23. November 16, 2026 falls on a Monday, so the weekday and the date disagree there. Confirm the window with the Fair before a driver plans around it.

Drivers map the route to 145 NE Fifth St., because the Fair closes streets around the campus. Two Miami Parking Authority garages serve the week for a fee: College Station at 190 NE Third St., and the Convention Center garage at 100 SE Second St.

Rideshare and drop-off traffic uses the Green entrance on NE First Avenue south of NE Third Street. Metrorail riders reach Government Center and transfer to the Metromover for College Bayside or College North. Brightline riders arrive at MiamiCentral and take the Metromover Inner Loop to the same two stops.

Stream Now for staff who cannot travel

The Fair publishes an on-demand library under Stream Now. The listing runs 73 pages of recorded sessions, each headed with the date it was first presented, and filters by topic, format, genre and language.

The Fair publishes no statement that the November 2026 sessions will join that library. Treat Stream Now as an archive of past sessions and put the question to the Fair's contact address before promising remote staff live coverage.

Booking the block

bookMyTeam sends one request to 50 or more hotels per destination and returns quotes within 24 to 72 hours. Submitting costs nothing and the platform adds no commission to the room rate. The RFP form takes the check-in and check-out dates, the king and double room counts and any special requirements in one pass.

The process page sets out what the hotels return: rates, terms and perks side by side.

What to put in the request

Ask for the walk time to 300 NE Second Ave. Ask whether the rate holds across the Street Fair weekend. Ask for the room-release date and the cancellation terms. Ask whether the property has a quiet room the team can use for a remote session.

Those answers decide where the room line lands against $261.54, and they arrive inside the 72-hour response window.
