A One-Day Event With an Unpublished Start
The NCA Holiday Classic runs Sunday, December 13, 2026 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. The venue lists the start time as TBA. Three documents clear before the travel desk books air, and the registration calendar for the 2026-2027 season is open.
What the Event Is
NCA lists the event as NCA - Holiday - Classic - DI/DII, Dallas, 12/13/2026 to 12/13/2026, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The venue record names Exhibit Hall C and the C Ballroom, and its location block adds Ballroom C1-C4 and the C100 meeting rooms. The building address is 650 S Griffin Street, Dallas, Texas 75202, (214) 939-2700.
The NCA event card carries The Varsity Cheer League at 400 points and lists Housing Rewards as the designation. Registration is open for 2026-2027, and the Register control opens events.myvarsity.com with event id 7231.
Document One: Participant and Coach Release
NCA's All Star required-forms page lists the Participant and Coach Release Form as a new digital form inside myVarsity. Each athlete and each coach completes it in the account. A team manager checks completion person by person before the roster closes.
Document Two: Recreational Verification
The verification form opens with the program name, the head coach contact details and a classification: Affiliated or Non-Affiliated. An affiliated program names its governing organization and the dates it supports that organization. It then initials three statements covering event producer rules and music guidelines, general safety and level rules, and a valid USA Cheer Youth/Rec Coaches Membership for the season.
The form closes with the signature of the recreational organization's president or a higher seated authority, with printed name, position and date. The published edition requires submission at least one month before the program's first competition and no later than December 31, 2025, and covers the 25-26 season.
Document Three: Recreational Team Roster
The roster form takes the program, team name, age group, level and classification, then 36 athlete rows with name, gender and date of birth, and eight alternate rows.
The form states that a team submits birth dates and produces birth certificates if questioned before, during or after a competition. Age is set by birth year for the competitive season. The form goes in the week before each event, through an upload link posted in the event BAND.
The Page Carries Last Season's Edition
The All Star forms page still prints the 2025-2026 Competition Terms and Conditions. Both small-print links resolve to 2025-2026 files, the Recreation Verification PDF and the Recreational Event Roster. The December 31 date belongs to that edition.
A 2026-2027 program reads the form structure from these documents and confirms the current cycle's deadline with NCA before it circulates a date to families. The three-step sequence holds across editions: release form, verification form, roster.
The TBA Start Sets the Travel Calendar
The venue record prints Event Starts TBA. The NCA card leaves its doors line blank. A Sunday competition with an unpublished clock points to a Saturday, December 12 arrival, and that Saturday room night is the planning decision.
A team that flies in on the morning of the event holds a fare it may not use. A team that arrives Saturday has the evening for a walk-through of the hall and the morning for the walk from the room block.
The paperwork sets the earlier cut-offs. The release form lives in myVarsity, the verification form runs a month ahead of a first competition, and the roster lands the week before the event. Work back from December 13 for each.
Housing Rewards and the Room Block
Team Travel Source runs the Varsity Spirit housing programme and names three designations: Housing Offered, Housing Rewards and Housing Required. Its 2026-2027 launch page opened Housing Offered and Housing Rewards bookings on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with events open to teams and the general public from 11:00 a.m. CST. Coaches and gym owners write to cheerdancegym@teamtravelsource.com or call 502-354-9103.
The venue publishes 15,000+ hotel rooms inside the walkable downtown core, 35,000+ across the city, and the 1,001-room Omni Dallas Hotel next to the building. The Dallas directory carries 790 hotels.
bookMyTeam's FAQ states that most hotels offer group rates for 10 or more rooms a night, with some discounting from five rooms depending on season and availability. The platform publishes a band of 15 to 40 percent below rack rates, 50 or more hotels per request and responses in 24 to 72 hours.
Ground and Air
ACE Parking runs the building's garage and Lot C. The garage at Memorial Dr and S Griffin St charges $20 per day per entry with no in-and-out, across two levels and 1,200 spots. Lot C at 502 S Lamar St charges $17 across 170 spots. Both run first come, first served.
Dallas Love Field sits seven miles from the hall. DFW sits about 30 minutes out. A Saturday arrival at either airport leaves the evening free and puts the team in the hall before the Sunday call.
The Sequence
Release forms, verification form, roster, room block, air. One item stays open: the start time, which the venue owns and the organiser has not published.
Send the room request with the dates, the room count and six questions: nightly rate, cut-off date, minimum stay, breakfast, parking charge and cancellation terms. The request form carries them, and the platform mechanics explain the response window.
