Two days, one building, several teams
Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals runs 5 and 6 December 2026 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. The venue address is 650 S Griffin Street, Dallas, Texas 75202. The convention centre assigns Exhibit Halls B and C plus the C Ballroom, and lists Ballroom C1 through C4 and the C100 meeting rooms inside the event’s location set.
Registration is open now. Spirit Celebration sells the weekend as a national cheerleading competition that brings the country’s young cheerleaders together for a first-place title and a holiday celebration.
For a programme, the decision turns on how many teams to bring, which day each team performs, and how many nights that requires.
The performance order sets your room nights
Varsity publishes the split on the event page. Prep, Novice and Rec teams perform Saturday only. Elite teams perform Saturday and Sunday.
That line sets the room nights. A programme entering Elite teams needs both nights and a Sunday departure. A programme entering only Prep, Novice or Rec teams can finish Saturday and travel home that evening.
No session times are published. The event page lists schedules as “2026 Coming Soon!” Coaches booking flights against an assumed start time carry the risk. Send the schedule question to the event desk before you price airfare. Spirit Celebration’s number is 866-397-3034.
Housing is required, and the booking window is open
Team Travel Source lists Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals among the events that carry a housing requirement. The 2026-2027 launch calendar puts November and December Housing Required events in the cohort that opened in September.
Coaches received the email with their scheduled booking time on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 at 2 p.m. EST. Team booking windows opened Thursday, 10 September 2026. The booking link went public Monday, 21 September 2026 at 11 a.m. CST, which means a programme can book now.
Booking waves follow each programme’s Housing Booking Tier. A programme must register within 48 hours of registration opening to receive a wave. Later registrations wait for the public link.

Two nights, priced
The convention centre publishes 15,000+ hotel rooms in the walkable downtown core and lists the 1,001-room Omni Dallas Hotel as adjacent to the building. bookMyTeam’s Dallas directory lists 790 hotels across the city.
Run the block as 10 rooms for two nights. That is 20 room-nights. At a planning rate of $189 a night the block costs $3,780. bookMyTeam’s group-rate calculator defaults to 10 percent and publishes 15 to 30 percent as the band it regularly secures. Fifteen percent puts the room-night at $160.65 and the block at $3,213. Thirty percent puts the room-night at $132.30 and the block at $2,646. Treat the $189 as a planning input and confirm it with the property.
Parking at the venue is first-come, per day, per entry, with no in and out. The ACE Parking garage at Memorial Drive and S Griffin Street charges $20 and holds 1,200 vehicles over two levels. Lot C at 502 S Lamar Street charges $17 and holds 170 vehicles. Two days in the garage cost $40 for one vehicle. Two days in Lot C cost $34. The venue publishes no bus rate, so a motorcoach needs a direct call to ACE Parking before the trip.
Bids and the questions to send this week
The weekend carries two full paid bids and four at-large bids to The Cheerleading Worlds. Varsity links a Summit bid guide that covers The Summit, The D2 Summit, The Youth Summit, The Rec Summit and The Regional Summit.
Spirit Celebration began in 1998 and operates from Plano. The Grand Nationals hosts a toy drive for local charities. The brand names Scottish Rite, I Can Still Shine, Dallas Association of the Deaf and Autism Speaks as philanthropic partners.
Air access runs through Dallas Love Field, seven miles from the building, and DFW, roughly 30 minutes out. DART serves the convention centre and the downtown hotels.
Four questions belong in the first email. Ask for the session times. Ask for spectator ticket prices, which the organiser sells through a separate ticketing page. Ask each property for its group rate and cancellation terms. Ask ACE Parking for motorcoach access.
