The per-head ticket

Oregon GOSH 2027 prices registration by the day. Tuesday 2 March costs $190 per person at the Oregon Convention Center. Wednesday 3 March costs $190. Thursday 4 March is a half day at $90. Monday 1 March carries pre-conference workshops from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at $90.

Every figure moves on 14 February 2027. Tuesday and Wednesday rise to $215. Monday and Thursday rise to $105. Onsite registration adds a $50 service fee to the day rate.

Six people on Tuesday to Thursday, booked before the deadline, cost $2,820. The same six after 14 February cost $3,210. Registering at the door adds $300.

Six people on all four days cost $3,360 before 14 February, $3,840 after that date and $4,140 at the door.

What the fee pays for

Tuesday registration includes the award ceremony and luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday registration includes lunch in the same window. Thursday closes at 12:30 p.m.

The two full days run breakout sessions across 20 tracks. The list covers construction, healthcare ergonomics, industrial hygiene and workplace violence prevention. The exhibit hall opens 7:30 a.m. and closes 3:15 p.m. on both days. The opening and keynote occupy 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday. The Columbia Forklift Challenge runs 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday inside the hall.

Two lunches sit inside the registration fee, so a per diem covers breakfast and two dinners for a three-day team.

The room block

The conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, 375 NE Holladay Street. It stands across the street from the building that holds Halls D-E.

Block rates start at $161 plus tax. The reservation cut-off is 7 February 2027. The organiser warns the block may fill before that date. Book through the Hyatt group link or on 971-222-1234 with group code G-GOS1. Each guest pays room, tax, parking and incidentals at checkout.

Three nights at $161 comes to $483 per room plus tax. Two people sharing a room pay $241.50 each for the stay, plus tax.

Hotel Eastlund at 1021 NE Grand Avenue carries an overflow block at $155 plus tax with valet parking at $30. The block name is Oregon GOSH Conference and the code is GOSHCONF. The cut-off printed beside it reads 14 February 2025. Confirm the live date with the hotel on 503-235-2100.

The same page lists DoubleTree by Hilton Portland at 1000 NE Multnomah Street, four blocks out, with a cut-off printed as 24 February 2023. Treat that entry as a prior cycle until the organiser confirms it.

How many nights the schedule requires

Monday workshops start at 1 p.m. Tuesday opens at 7:30 a.m. Thursday ends at 12:30 p.m. A team working the whole conference arrives Monday morning and flies out Thursday afternoon. That fixes three nights: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

A team that skips the Monday workshops still needs three nights. The Tuesday keynote starts at 8:30 a.m. and Portland International Airport sits eight miles out.

Cutting Thursday saves $90 per person, or $540 across six.

Transit and parking

Conference-goers receive a complimentary TriMet pass for event week. Collect it at conference registration on the first day. MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the front door. Bus line 6 stops on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard across the street.

A driver pays $15 per vehicle for up to 18 hours in the venue garage, with no in-and-out privileges. The venue charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry on large event days. The garage holds 800 cars, with 7-foot clearance on the P1 level and 9-foot clearance on P2. The building takes cards and contactless payment.

Three days of garage parking costs $45 to $75 per vehicle. The TriMet pass costs the team nothing.

Questions for the rate request

The organiser publishes the nightly rate, the cut-off, the group code and the hotel phone. It publishes no room tax rate, no Hyatt garage charge, no cancellation terms and no rooming-list process. The lodging page puts reservation duty on each guest.

Put four questions to the Hyatt. Whether $161 buys a king or a double. What the tax rate is. Whether garage parking is billed per night. Whether the hotel will take one rooming list for a team of eight.

Put one question to the organiser. Whether a team rate exists for five or more seats, since the published schedule prices every seat individually. Registration runs through the Oregon OSHA Conference Section on 503-947-7411, or 888-292-5247 option 1 toll free in Oregon.

Run the block against a second property before signing it. The same dates can go out as a group RFP to Portland properties outside the GOSH block.

The total for six people

Six people, Tuesday to Thursday, three nights, two per room, booked before 14 February: registration $2,820, rooms $1,449 plus tax, transit $0. The bill lands at $4,269 plus room tax, or $711.50 per person plus their share of tax.

Book after 14 February and the same trip reaches $4,659 plus room tax. Register at the door and it reaches $4,959 plus room tax. Two booking decisions account for $690 of the spread.

Oregon GOSH runs 1 to 4 March 2027 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Portland. The venue lists the show floor open 2 to 4 March. The organiser adds the Monday workshops.
