The Portland Boat Show runs Jan. 13 to 17, 2027 at the Portland Expo Center, in Halls C, D and E. Marketplace Events produces the show. A dealer or marine sales crew that works the run spends four nights in Portland and passes a parking gate every morning.

Three 9 p.m. closes fix the room nights

The show publishes its daily clock on the attendee page. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Jan. 13, 14 and 15 run 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Expo Center's own event page carries the same five lines.

Four nights from Wednesday covers the run. Check in on Wednesday 13 January and check out on Sunday 17 January. That puts the crew on the floor at the 11 a.m. open each day and off it after the Sunday 6 p.m. close.

Dinner falls after the close on three consecutive evenings. A per diem that stops at a midday meal leaves the team buying Wednesday, Thursday and Friday dinner out of pocket. Saturday closes at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m.

The hall holds the booth from 11 a.m. The morning shift arrives before the doors open, and the evening shift inherits the 9 p.m. finish. Two shifts cover a ten-hour day.

One vehicle, one gate charge

The show's information page prints the facility charge at $15 per space and states no in and out privileges. Its FAQ repeats the figure. A staff vehicle that drives out for supplies and comes back pays the entry charge again on the return.

The venue sells advance parking online through its own parking page. The page prices a space at $15 per car per entry, states that prices may vary at special events, and adds that the lots take cash and major credit cards. Confirm the rate when the pass is bought.

The show's FAQ names one exception. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, which the page prices as a $15 saving. The offer applies to a vehicle entering after 5. A crew that opens the booth at 11 a.m. pays the full charge. A second shift arriving for the evening pays nothing.

Five show days at the standard rate come to $75 for one space.

The MAX stop outside the hall

TriMet's Yellow Line runs to the Expo Center station, which the venue describes as a short walk from the entrance. The adult fare is $2.80 for 2½ hours, and a rider pays nothing more after $5.60 in a day.

Take four staff who need to leave the hall and come back. The vehicle pays $15 to park and $15 again on re-entry, for $30. Four MAX day passes cost $22.40, and the vehicle keeps its space.

For a crew that arrives once and stays, one space covers every occupant at $15. Two day passes cost $11.20. Three cost $16.80. Each occupant after three adds $5.60 to the transit line.

A staff member who leaves at noon and returns for the evening close buys two 2½-hour tickets. The second trip adds nothing, because the $5.60 day cap has already been reached.

Where the crew sleeps

The bookMyTeam directory lists 278 hotels in Portland. The platform publishes 103,857 or more hotels across 46 states.

Group terms start at 10 or more rooms a night, and some properties discount from five rooms depending on season and availability.

The directory's Portland records include Country Inn & Suites at 9930 North Whitaker Road and the Courtyard at 1231 North Anchor Way, both in 97217, the ZIP that holds the Expo Center. Aloft at Cascade Station and Best Western Plus on Northeast Airport Way sit in 97220, the next ZIP east.

A dealer crew of four to six sits below the ten-room threshold. Submit the request through the RFP form and ask each property for its position at five rooms. The group rate calculator carries the platform's published benchmark of 15-40% below rack rates.

What the sources leave open

The venue lists admissions as to be announced, and the exhibitor parking pass price does not appear on the Expo Center's event page. Put both questions to the show office in writing with the booth contract.

The Expo Center sits at 2025 North Expo Road, Portland 97217, off Interstate 5 at exit 306B from the north and exit 307 from the south.
