Eight tickets, eight person-days

Portland Holiday Market runs November 6 to 8, 2026, in Halls D and E at the Portland Expo Center, 2025 N Expo Rd, Portland, OR 97217. Marketplace Events produces the show.

Every exhibiting company receives eight complimentary e-tickets. The show emails them to the address on the show contract.

Each ticket admits one person on one day. The vendor kit states the tickets are valid for any one day of the show and carry no day assignment.

Eight tickets therefore cover eight person-days. A guest who wants Friday and Saturday uses two of the eight.

Build the plan on that arithmetic before you hand a ticket to anyone.

A three-day split that fits

Friday, November 6 runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 7 runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 8 runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Marketplace Events reports an average of 17,660 shoppers across the show. The kit publishes no per-day split.

One workable split is three tickets on Friday, three on Saturday and two on Sunday. That covers prospecting on the quietest day, client hosting in the middle, and a pair of buyers for the close.

Box office sales close one hour before the show ends each day. A guest who arrives in that last hour walks a hall that is already winding down.

The hand stamp covers one day

Same-day re-entry needs a hand stamp. Guests collect the stamp in the show lobby before leaving the building.

A ticket used on Friday stays spent. A guest who wants to return on Saturday visits the Show Office, and the organiser states it will accommodate the request.

The Show Office sits in the entrance lobby of Hall E.

Tickets and badges run on separate tracks

The eight e-tickets cover guests, prospects, friends and family. They carry no vendor access.

Booth staff work from vendor badges. Each booth receives up to five badges, and every badge holder must be 16 or older. A lost badge costs $7 to replace.

Collect the badges at the Show Office during move-in. Distributing them to staff is the exhibitor's job.

A company that signs its contract after October 23 picks up the complimentary tickets on site at the Show Office during move-in. Extra complimentary tickets go through EmilyB@mpeshows.com.

The 8 a.m. booth call

Vendor booth access opens at 8 a.m. on all three show days. The building admits no vendor before 8 a.m.

Daily vendor entry runs behind Halls E and D through Upper Parking Lot 4. Vendors stay out of the attendee lobby entrances.

The kit asks vendors to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show opens. A crew that plans a 9 a.m. arrival loses the hour before the doors.

Restock before the doors open. Security may stop any vendor who tries a side entrance or a loading dock door during show hours.

Sunday ends at 6:01 p.m.

Teardown begins at 6:01 p.m. on Sunday, November 8. Move-out runs to 10 p.m., and every booth must clear the building by then.

The kit forbids packing up before the close. Customers stay on the floor through the last hour, and early teardown breaches the contract.

The decorator rolls carpet as soon as the show closes. Carts travel by hand once the floor is bare.

No child under 16 may enter during move-in or move-out. That rule covers the halls, the lot and the dock.

Trailers and vehicles arriving for move-out park free after 5 p.m.

Booth facts that set the crew size

One 500-watt, 120-volt duplex receptacle comes with each booth. Neighboring booths share it.

Flooring must cover the whole booth footprint. Duct tape is not permitted, and any residue left on the floor carries a fee. Tables need floor-length skirting on every visible side.

Wi-Fi runs free through the building. The network name and password arrive at move-in.

A 5-by-10 storage space costs $50 and sits in the back corner of Hall D.

Proof of general liability insurance is due before the show opens. Coverage must run November 4 through 8, 2026, at $1,000,000, with Marketplace Events LLC listed as additional insured. Certificates go to MichelleD@mpeshows.com.

Parking and the MAX

Vendor parking costs $15 a day. A three-day pass costs $45 a space and carries in-and-out privileges through the day.

TriMet's MAX Yellow Line stops at the Expo Center station, a short walk from the entrance. Bike racks sit beside the MAX stop and outside Halls D and E.

Where the crew sleeps

The show publishes two hotel recommendations with rates. Courtyard Portland North charges $139 a night plus fees at 1231 North Anchor Way, Portland, OR 97217, 1.8 miles from the Expo Center. The reservation deadline is October 21, 2026.

Oxford Suites charges $109 a night plus fees at 12226 N Jantzen Dr, Portland, OR 97217, 1.9 miles out. The deadline is November 4, 2026.

Both rates cover November 4 through 8, 2026. Both need the booking link or the show name at the front desk, and neither works through the brand website.

Two rooms for the four nights of November 4 through 8 cost $872 at Oxford Suites and $1,112 at Courtyard Portland North, before fees and tax.

Send a larger room request through bookMyTeam's RFP route, and hold the published block against the group rate calculator.
