Two 8 a.m. Doors Calls in Hall D
The American Northwest - Portland - Nationals - DI/DII runs 5 and 6 December 2026 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97232. The venue books Hall D for both days.
Doors open at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and again at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. The venue page labels the days "Sunday, 12/5" and "Monday, 12/6", so check the labels against a calendar before booking. The event line is 800-462-8294 and the venue line is 503-235-7575.
The competition counts 400 points toward the Varsity Cheer League, and the organiser lists a live stream for families who stay home.
What the Ticket Gate Requires
Registration is required. Children under five enter free and need no ticket. The event takes no cash. A wristband is issued at the admissions location, and every ticketed person must stand at the pickup to collect one.
Refunds are granted when requested before the doors open to spectators, through Leap Customer Care. No refund runs after the doors open.
Tickets go on sale Friday 20 November 2026 at 7:00 a.m. PST. The listing carries no price before that date, and it times the event from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
The Friday Night That Shares the Building
December 4 is a Friday. The venue calendar books the Marquis, Consonus and AgeRight employee holiday party in the Portland Ballroom that evening. A squad arriving Friday afternoon shares the approach roads and the garage with that party.
The venue states that the garage reaches capacity on busy days and that availability is first come, first served. OCC does not guarantee a space.
The $15 Ground Line and the $25 Ceiling
Standard daily garage entry is $15 for up to 18 hours. The rate carries no in-and-out privileges. During events the venue charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry.
Three vehicles across two event days cost $90 at $15 and $150 at $25. One vehicle across the same two days costs $30 to $50. The garage opens at 6:00 a.m. daily. Overnight parking is prohibited, so the vehicle sleeps at the hotel and a Monday departure adds a third day of entry.
Measure the Van Before the Booking
The garage has two entrances and two clearances. P1, off NE Lloyd Blvd, clears 7 feet. P2, off NE First Avenue, clears 9 feet. A tall passenger van with a roof rack goes to P2, and the height on the door plate decides it.
The garage holds 800 spaces and turns away RVs, campers and trucks with trailers. P1 carries 10 accessible spaces and P2 carries 11, with the 9-foot ceiling on P2 serving adapted vehicles. Both booths take cards and touchless payment only.
Transit for a Full Load
TriMet MAX stops 300 times a day at the front door. The adult fare is $2.80 for 2 1/2 hours, and a day caps at $5.60 on a contactless card or a phone.
Twenty people riding both event days cost $224 at the day cap. Twelve people cost $134.40. Three vehicles parked across the same two days cost $90 to $150.
The Streetcar A Loop arrives at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes. Bus line 6 stops at NE MLK and Holladay and at NE MLK and Hoyt. PDX sits eight miles from the building, with MAX Red Line service between the two. 566 metered spaces sit within three blocks.
Two Nights or Three
A Friday-to-Sunday trip covers both doors calls. The listing closes at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, and a Monday departure holds a third room night.
Team Travel Source runs the housing programme for Varsity Spirit, on 502-354-9103 or cheerdancegym@teamtravelsource.com, and Varsity designates this stop Housing Rewards. A squad that wants competing quotes submits a request through the bookMyTeam RFP form, and the group rate calculator returns a first number.
bookMyTeam defines a group rate as a block of 10 or more rooms, at 15 to 40 percent below the best available rate. A request below ten rooms routes through hotelhaggle.org.
What the Pages Leave Open
No gate price is published before 20 November. The venue page carries the two doors calls and no competition block times. Ask the event line at 800-462-8294 for the session schedule before the room-night count is fixed.
