Three Halls, One Weekend
The Portland Wedding Show 2027 takes Hall D at the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 January. Public hours run 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Move-in runs Thursday 21 and Friday 22 January.
The venue's January 2027 calendar lists the PDX Invitational in Hall C from 22 to 24 January and the World Oddities Expo in Hall E on 23 and 24 January. Three public events share one 800-space garage.
The organiser reports 109 vendors, 2,684 attendees and about 1,005 weddings for its 2026 edition.
Move-In Lands on Arrival Days
Exhibitor move-in runs Thursday and Friday. The wristband sponsor tier carries early move-in on Thursday. Friday carries the inbound freight on the same day a corporate group would land for a Monday start.
Ask the show office for the move-in clock and the dock schedule. The organiser publishes the two dates and no hours. The venue listing carries 503.388.3434.
The Garage Sets the Day Cost
The Oregon Convention Center publishes its own parking terms. Entry costs $15 for up to 18 hours, and larger event days carry a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry. The garage holds 800 spaces and opens at 6 a.m. on a first come, first served basis. The venue states it does not guarantee availability.
Overnight parking is prohibited. The garage takes no RVs, campers or trailers. Both entrances are cashless. Clearance is 7 feet on P1 off NE Lloyd Boulevard and 9 feet on P2 off NE First Avenue.
Five vehicles at the dynamic rate cost $75 to $125 for the day.
Show Hours and the Hour Before the Doors
General admission runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. VIP tickets enter at 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. The organiser prints vendor hours as 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
General admission costs $5 before 23 November 2026, $10 before the show and $20 once it opens. A VIP ticket costs $30 plus a $2.38 fee and carries early entry for the group arriving with the holder. One ticket covers either day or both, with a hand stamp for Sunday re-entry. Children under 12 enter free.
The Weeks Either Side
The week before carries the Pacific Office Automation annual meeting and dinner in the Portland Ballroom on 16 January and the Urban League of Portland MLK Day brunch in Portland Ballroom 251 and 258 on 18 January.
The week after carries FAN EXPO Portland across Halls A-A1-B-C and the Showstopper Dance Competition in Hall E from 29 to 31 January, with the 56th Annual Estate Planning Seminar in Portland Ballroom 253-254-255 on the Friday.
The venue calendar fills most of January 2027. The planning call decides which week the team needs the garage.
Rooms and What the Show Publishes
The Portland directory on bookMyTeam lists 278 hotels available for comparison and rate requests. Platform savings run 15-40%, and a request costs nothing to submit.
The wedding show publishes no room block and no show rate. Three properties appear in its Guest Accommodations category: Jupiter Hotel & Jupiter NEXT, Rosswood Event Center & River's Edge Hotel, and Skamania Lodge. The organiser prints no rate for any of them.
Transit Sets the Floor
TriMet charges $2.80 for a 2.5-hour adult ticket and caps a day at $5.60. The same fare covers the Portland Streetcar, and MAX light rail stops at the convention center. Four people riding all day cost $22.40.
What to Put in the Request
Fix check-in and check-out to the arrival decision. Send the dates through the RFP form with the room count and the vehicle count. Compare the first quote against the property's own online rate with the group rate calculator.
Four questions belong in the same message: the move-in clock on 21 and 22 January, the garage's expected dynamic band, the hotel's distance to the Hall D entrance, and whether the property holds rooms on a 48-hour release. Read how the request process works before the call.
The show dates are fixed. The arrival day is the variable.
