ScanFair runs Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2026 in Halls A-A1 at the Oregon Convention Center. Saturday trades 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday trades 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nordic Northwest stages the 42nd edition.
A team that travels once needs a Friday arrival. Rooms on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December cover the market and leave Sunday morning free for the journey home.
The ticket price sits behind a login
The organiser page prints one ticket line: "Early Bird Tickets End November 30th!". The ticket button opens the Nordic Northwest events portal. That portal asks a visitor to log in before it shows a price.
Check the price in the portal before quoting a client. The 30 November cut-off falls on a Monday, eleven days before the Friday arrival.
Two halls, one market
The venue describes ScanFair as a Nordic Christmas market. The floor carries food and drink vendors, an entertainment programme, games, crafts and local community organisations.
Crafty Wonderland fills Hall D across 11 to 13 December. The two shows share one garage, one light rail stop and one Saturday.
A Friday and a Saturday night
Four properties stand within walking distance of Halls A-A1. The rates below come from another event's Portland block at the same venue, read on 18 October 2026.
Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, 0.1 miles, $235 a night. Hotel Eastlund, 0.1 miles, $199. Courtyard Portland Downtown/Convention Center, 0.2 miles, $214. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland, 0.4 miles, $185.
Four double rooms for two nights at the Courtyard figure come to $1,712. That block page states that Portland occupancy taxes run 16.5 percent and marks the rate subject to change. ScanFair publishes no host hotel and no room block.
The fare and the garage
TriMet charges $2.80 for an adult 2½-hour ticket and caps a day of riding at $5.60. The Portland Streetcar runs inside that fare. Eight day passes come to $44.80.
The Streetcar A Loop calls at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes, outside the main entrances. MAX stops 300 times a day near the front door and connects to Portland International Airport, eight miles away.
A team that drives parks underground: 800 spaces, $15 for up to 18 hours, no in-and-out privileges, and a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry on event days. The garage opens at 6 a.m. Overnight parking is prohibited.
Cards at every counter
The building runs cashless. Food outlets, parking booths, locker rentals and vending machines take cards and touchless payment. A guest with cash exchanges it at a Reverse ATM in the MLK Lobby, left of the welcome desk. The machine loads $1 to $500 onto a prepaid Visa and charges no fee.
Exhibitors and event vendors may still take cash. Availability varies by event, so the brief covers both cases.
The rate request
bookMyTeam publishes group pricing for 10 or more rooms a night. Its how-it-works page adds that some hotels discount for as few as five rooms depending on season and availability. Four rooms sit below both figures, so the request asks whether a five-room floor applies that weekend.
The site publishes a 15 to 40 percent band below rack rates. Its calculator runs a 10 percent default and cites 15 to 30 percent as the range the platform secures. One request reaches 50 or more hotels, submission is free, and replies arrive within 24 to 72 hours. The Portland directory lists 278 hotels.
Two numbers are fixed: the Saturday clock of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the 30 November early-bird close. The room rate and the ticket price come back through the request and the portal.
