A $750 Pairing Slot for a Team Offsite

SF Beer Week is a production of the Bay Area Brewers Guild, a nonprofit. The 2026 edition ran ten days across two weekends, February 20 to March 1. The site publishes no 2027 dates, so a February 2027 offsite builds its budget on the last published cycle and confirms the new window with the organiser.

The guild's hosting page carries two products that matter to a corporate buyer: a $750 pairing slot and a $1,000 stage sponsorship. Both sit above a hosting ladder that starts at $200.

The $750 Pairing Slot and Its Four-Buyer Cap

The page lists a $750 Add-On: Beer vs. Everybody Event Host. The published description reads, "Go head-to-head with BABG Executive Director Sayre Piotrkowski in a pairing competition!" The same line carries a cap: Limit 4.

Four buyers can hold the slot. The format puts a team inside a judged pairing competition against the guild's executive director. The purchase is a hosted activity for the offsite programme.

The $1,000 Stage Sponsorship

The same list carries a $1,000 Stage Sponsorship at SF Beer Week Fest. The published description reads, "Your name/logo on concert stage sign + directional handouts & signage."

SF Beer Week Fest is the guild's tentpole event. The 2026 edition ran Saturday, February 21 at Salesforce Park, produced in partnership with Barebottle Brewing. A ticket carries unlimited tastings, live entertainment and a reusable commemorative tasting glass, and the guild asks for 21 and over to drink beer.

The FAQ answers the gala question in one line: "No traditional Opening Gala. Instead, SFBW Fest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21."

The pairing slot puts a team inside the programme. The stage sponsorship puts a name on the Fest signage.

The Hosting Ladder Under Both Products

The same page prices participation for a venue that holds a licence. A Host Starter Kit costs $200, or $150 before January 23, and carries one listing, a participant profile, the host kit and additional listings at $50 each. A Single Location Bundle costs $550, or $450 before January 23, and carries six listings, one feature listing and two general-admission tickets to SF Beer Week Fest. A Multiple Location Bundle costs $850, or $750 before January 23, and carries ten shared listings, a participant profile with up to three venue profiles, one feature listing and two VIP tickets to the Fest.

An Official Sponsor package costs $1,500 and adds recognition as an official sponsor, a logo on digital and print promotions, social media callouts, three VIP tickets with 20 percent off as many as twenty more, two events elevated to feature listings, twelve shared listings, up to three participant profiles, additional listings at $35 and the option to host a table at the Fest.

The page header reads "Early Bird Extended to Jan 23!" Three items on the same list are closed. The $5,000 Exclusive Tasting Glass Sponsor is sold out, the $5,000 Exclusive Coaster Display is sold out, and the $1,000 Shared Coaster Display is sold out at a minimum of three and a maximum of eight participants. A $1,000 Brewery and Taproom Handouts line remains open and places collateral across all participating venues.

Every hosting sign-up control on the page carries a tooltip reading "This option is no longer available." The 2026 hosting sale is closed and the page publishes no 2027 price for any line.

Deadlines and Who Qualifies

The hosting rules limit submissions to licensed parties. Bars, restaurants and breweries qualify, and a party needs a licence to serve alcohol or proper permits. Independent craft breweries must sit at the centre of any listing, and every submission faces review and approval. The page expects event submissions to close by end of day on Wednesday, February 18, and processing can take up to a week.

Two listing types exist. An Activity is a gathering at a set time and place. A Promotion is a standing offer with no start time. All events must comply with California Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.

The licensing rule sits under the hosting questions. The $750 add-on and the $1,000 stage sponsorship sit under Additional Sponsor Options. A company without a licence puts the eligibility question to the organiser through the page's Contact Us link.

The Room Side of a February Offsite

The guild publishes no hotel block, no host property, no nightly rate and no booking cut-off. Room nights follow the number of days the team stays inside the ten-day window, and the Fest occupies one Saturday of it.

bookMyTeam publishes its own figures for the city. The San Francisco directory page lists 562 hotels available and shows 24 per page. The platform quotes 15-40 percent below rack rates, 50-plus hotels per request, responses in 24 to 72 hours and no markup. Most hotels offer group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, and some discount from five rooms depending on season and availability. An RFP submission is free.

What to Put in the Request

Five questions decide the budget. Confirm the 2027 dates. Ask for the 2027 price on the pairing slot and the stage sponsorship. Ask whether the add-on requires the buyer to hold a licence. Ask whether the add-on stacks with a Multiple Location Bundle. Ask for the room rate on the Fest Saturday and the nights either side of it.

Submit the room request through the bookMyTeam RFP form and set the target rate against the room count the offsite actually needs.
