Eighteen Days, One Booking Rule
SF Sketchfest runs January 14-31, 2027. The festival's homepage carries the banner "Jan 14 - 31, 2027" over "SF Sketchfest 2027", and the page description names this edition as the festival's 24th year. That is eighteen days, Thursday January 14 through Sunday January 31.
Eighteen days is the part a travel desk has to solve. A corporate team arrives in waves across a three-week run, and each wave carries its own checkout.
Two Hotel Sponsors, One Corporate ID
The festival's sponsors page holds a Major Sponsors block with two hotels. Hotel Kabuki sits first, and its logo links to a JDV by Hyatt booking page that carries corp_id=47122. Enso sits second, and its logo links to ensohotelsf.com.
The corporate ID is 47122, and it rides on the Hotel Kabuki link. The Enso link carries no code. That single code is the festival's published room channel, and it is a property URL.
The Festival Publishes Emails, Not a Phone Line
Hotel Kabuki occupies 1625 Post St, San Francisco, 94115. The festival's own contact page publishes four email addresses and no phone number: info@sfsketchfest.com, sponsors@sfsketchfest.com, press@sfsketchfest.com and boxoffice@sfsketchfest.com. A travel desk that holds a phone number for this festival holds a number the festival does not publish.
Reconcile the Code Against Policy
The festival publishes no 2027 room block, no nightly rate, no room count and no cut-off date. The link sends the booker to the property. Three questions go to the property's group desk, one per traveller wave: whether the corporate ID holds for these dates, whether it covers the nights each traveller needs, and whether the folio can be billed centrally.
Answer those three questions before the code goes into a booking tool. A corporate ID is a rate channel the property controls, and the travel policy is the other half of the reconciliation. Put the answer beside the traveller's name in the rooming list.
Staggered Arrivals And The Nightly Pickup
Serve the run in waves and the nightly pickup stays thin. Eight travellers across eighteen days can look like this: three arrive January 14 for four nights, three arrive January 20 for five nights, and two arrive January 28 for four nights. That is twelve room-nights plus fifteen plus eight, thirty-five room-nights across three arrival dates.
Rooms on a single night stay at three in that pattern, so no night reaches a ten-room threshold. bookMyTeam publishes the market rule: most hotels offer group rates for 10+ rooms per night, and some offer discounts for as few as 5 rooms depending on season and availability. The platform also publishes 15-40% below rack rates, 50+ hotels per request, 24-72h responses and $0 in markup, and its San Francisco directory lists 562 hotels. Ask each property for its own per-night threshold, send the request through bookmyteam.org/rfp/submit, and compare the hotels at bookmyteam.org/directory/california/san-francisco.
What the 2027 Run Publishes
Tickets go on sale Sunday November 15 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific, printed on the festival's 2027 schedule host. The homepage says the lineup is announced in November. The schedule host adds that a sold-out show may release a limited number of tickets at the door, sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The festival's contact page routes ticket questions to boxoffice@sfsketchfest.com.
Performer applications for 2027 are closed. The festival says all applicants hear back by November 13, 2026, and that applications for the 2028 festival open in spring 2027.
Where the Team Will Be
The festival names twelve venues with street addresses. Fort Mason Center holds two of them: BATS Bayfront Theatre in Building B on the third floor, and the Annex in Building B on the second floor, both at 2 Marina Blvd. The rest are Cobb's Comedy Club at 915 Columbus Avenue, Eclectic Box at 446 Valencia Street, Great American Music Hall at 859 O'Farrell Street, Great Star Theater at 636 Jackson Street, Lost Church at 988 Columbus Avenue, Marines' Memorial Theatre at 609 Sutter Street, Palace of Fine Arts Theatre at 3301 Lyon Street, Punch Line Comedy Club at 444 Battery Street, Sports Basement Presidio at 610 Old Mason Street, and The Sydney Goldstein Theater at 275 Hayes Street.
Two age rules matter for a work group. Cobb's Comedy Club and Punch Line Comedy Club are 18 and over unless a show notes otherwise, and Great American Music Hall is 6 and over unless a show notes otherwise. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite unless a venue's listing says otherwise.
Box office windows are published per venue. Eight of the twelve venues sell in person from sixty minutes before any SF Sketchfest show to fifteen minutes after the show begins. Cobb's Comedy Club, Punch Line Comedy Club and Great American Music Hall publish their own windows. The Sydney Goldstein Theater lists a ticket phone line at 415-392-4400, Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Read the Dates Off the Right Page
The festival's schedule page still carries the 2026 run, "January 15 - February 1, 2026", with the 2026 schedule embedded in the page. The 2027 dates sit on the homepage banner and on the 2027 schedule host. A desk that builds the room request from the schedule page prices the wrong three weeks.
