A Creative Offsite: Taking a Team to Spectrum Miami 2026

Spectrum Miami runs 2-6 December 2026 at Mana Wynwood Convention Center, 318 NW 23rd Street, Miami. Red Dot Miami runs in the same building on the same days. One ticket admits a guest to both fairs, and both publish the same hours and the same parking price.

A team can split across two exhibition programmes inside one air-conditioned building and regroup without a transfer. The venue publishes 100,000 square feet of convention space, split into a 45,000 square foot event hall and a 35,000 square foot sound stage.

Two half-days cover the fair

Spectrum publishes four show days and one preview evening. The VIP and press preview runs Wednesday 2 December from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The opening night preview runs the same evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests must be 21 or accompanied by an adult.

Show hours run noon to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Sunday closes at 6 p.m.

A Wednesday opening night plus one floor day covers the fair for a working team. Thursday and Friday each give eight hours on the floor. Take one of the two and the group keeps Saturday free for travel or for a second fair across town.

Keep the Sunday close out of the return leg

Sunday closes at 6 p.m. A crew that works the floor to the close and then drives to Miami International Airport has check-in, security and a flight ahead of it. The venue sits 9.4 miles and 22 minutes from the airport on an OSRM driving route. A December Sunday evening adds traffic to that figure.

Book the return for Saturday evening or Monday morning. A Sunday visit works as a short morning block that ends by 2 p.m.

What a trade credential covers

Spectrum admits trade buyers all day on every fair day. The organiser lists art industry professionals, gallery personnel, designers, consultants, art dealers, frame shops and retailers. Registration happens in advance, and credentials are checked at the door.

Children 15 and under enter free. A child under 16 must arrive with an adult. Strollers are not permitted, and the organiser asks guests not to touch the art.

Large bags, backpacks, computer bags and suitcases stay outside. Photography of artwork needs the exhibitor's permission.

What the ticket costs

An all-access pass costs $73.73 in advance, made up of a $70.00 ticket and a $3.73 fee. A two-for-one all-access pair costs $37.51. All-access covers the opening night preview and every show day.

A one-day general admission ticket costs $32.33 in advance, or $16.81 for a two-for-one pair. Students aged 16 to 20, teachers, seniors 62 and over, military and first responders pay $27.16 for one day, or $14.22 for a two-for-one pair.

Door prices rise on 2 December to $95 for all access, $50 for general admission and $30 for the concession tier. The organiser sells door tickets online and at the door.

Each ticket also admits the holder to nine Miami museums at no charge. Refunds run through the fair's close at 6 p.m. Eastern on Sunday 6 December.

Run the arithmetic before you buy. Eight people who want the opening night and one show day pay four times $37.51, or $150.04. The same eight people on advance one-day general admission pay eight times $32.33, or $258.64, and miss the opening night.

Rooms for the crew

Redwood Art Group publishes no hotel block. Its accommodations section sends guests to a third-party search page and states that the group cannot act as an intermediary between a guest and a hotel.

Book the crew through a direct request for proposal to the hotels you want. Most hotels quote group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, and some discount from 5 rooms depending on season and availability. bookMyTeam sends one request to 50 or more hotels per destination and costs nothing to submit, and its own notice states that it cannot process booking requests from residents of, or for travel to, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. Florida law (Chapter 559, Florida Statutes) requires sellers of travel to register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the registration is not in place. compliance@hotelhuddle.com answers the state of it.

The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau reports a Miami-Dade average daily rate of $283.32 for January to June 2026, on STR data. Treat that figure as a planning number. December is Miami's high season, so quotes will run above the year-to-date line.

Eight rooms across three nights cost $6,799.68 at that rate, before tax. The RFP replaces the number with real offers. Start at the group rate request and check the band on the group rate calculator.

Parking and arrival

Onsite parking costs $33 plus tax on every fair day. Payment falls due at entry. The organiser states that a space is valid for 12 hours, with no in-and-out privilege and no overnight stay. The lot holds 10 ADA-compliant stalls and fills on a first-come basis.

The organiser points overflow traffic to a Wynwood neighbourhood parking link. A crew that arrives by coach or van should confirm the drop-off point on NW 23rd Street with the venue before the trip.

Confirm four things before you commit

Ask the organiser which fair carries the exhibitors the team came to see. Ask whether a group of eight can register trade credentials in one batch. Ask whether the opening night preview needs a separate list. Ask the venue where a van or coach can stop and wait.

The ticketing page carries the answer to the price question and nothing about group seating, group registration or coach access. Put those three in writing before the deposit.
