One hall, one Saturday

ThriftCon Dallas runs Saturday, 7 November 2026, in Exhibit Hall B at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 650 S Griffin Street. The organiser's ticket page prints the date and a 10 AM General Admission entry. The venue listing prints the date, the hall, the consumer-show category and a start of TBA.

The floor carries more than 120 vintage clothing and collectible vendors. The venue describes the format as buy-sell-trade, with stock from the 1970s through the 2000s.

The door is the counter that stays open

Both online tiers read SOLD OUT on tickets.thriftcon.co on 22 October 2026. General Admission sold at $19 and Early Admission at $40, and both prices included Texas sales tax. The organiser's line beside the ticket list reads: tickets available all day at the door.

Door tickets are General Admission only, with 10 AM entry, and they hold for a single day. The organiser prints no door price, so the team budgets from the figure quoted at the door. Children under 13 need no ticket. Every guest aged 13 and over needs one.

One bag each, and the Pit Pass

The organiser allows one bag of items per guest to sell or trade, and only with a valid Pit Pass. The Pit is the floor space reserved for non-vendors. ThriftCon's guide to the Pit, published 10 February 2024, reserves an 8 ft by 10 ft area per seller for a four-hour slot. The same guide asks sellers to carry everything in one or two bags, allows no load-in and no setup, and bars carts, tables, chairs and racks.

The guide closes on a line that decides the packing. There are no Pit Passes available for any city at the time of that writing. Treat the pass as conditional and confirm it with the organiser in the week before the show.

Parking and DART passes

The convention center runs two ACE Parking facilities, both first-come and first-served, both charged per day and per entry with no in-and-out. The garage at Memorial Drive and South Griffin Street costs $20 and holds 1,200 cars over two levels. Lot C at 502 South Lamar Street costs $17 and holds 170 cars.

DART sells advance day passes for conventions, special events and schools. A Local Day Pass costs $6 and covers buses and trains, the Silver Line, GoLink, FLEX service and Trinity Railway Express trains between Union Station and CenterPort/DFW Airport Station. A Regional Day Pass costs $9. Passes run one to seven days, cover consecutive days of use, and are non-refundable and non-replaceable. The group sales line is 214-749-3418.

Twelve people in three cars pay $60 in the garage. The same three cars in Lot C pay $51. Twelve Local Day Passes cost $72.

A bed for the team that stays

The venue counts more than 15,000 hotel rooms in the walkable downtown core and names the 1,001-room Omni Dallas Hotel as adjacent to the building.

bookMyTeam takes one room request through its RFP form. The request reaches 50+ hotels per destination, offers arrive in 24 to 72 hours, and the team pays the hotel directly at the quoted rate. bookMyTeam defines a group rate as a negotiated block of 10+ rooms and publishes a typical band of 15-40% below the Best Available Rate.

The note that closes the plan

Put four items in one note: the vehicle count, the 10 AM door, the number of guests aged 13 and over, and whether the team needs a bed. A 10 AM door means a 9:20 AM arrival for a group that walks in together.
