Two days, two halls, one gate
The Tampa Oddities & Curiosities Expo runs November 21 and 22, 2026 at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N, Tampa, FL 33610. The show fills Expo Hall and Entertainment Hall, and the venue's gate roster puts both at the US Hwy 301 entrance, Gate 1.
The fairgrounds event details block prints 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. The organiser prints 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, and the fairgrounds event card prints 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Two of the three readings close at 5 p.m. Build the team day on a 10 a.m. open and a 5 p.m. close, then confirm the last hour with the show office.
Ticket prices step at midnight
General admission covers the floor. Advance tickets cost $15. The day-of price is $20, and the organiser releases it at midnight on the first show day, Saturday November 21. The door takes cash and credit cards.
Buy on Friday and ten people cost $150. Buy on Saturday and the same ten cost $200. The $5 step per head reaches $100 across a team of twenty.
Children 12 and under enter free and need no ticket.
Tickets are non-refundable. The name on a ticket does not matter, because the door scans the barcode. A ticket works on either day and will not work on both.
Three classes sit inside the show
Saturday carries a raccoon taxidermy class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $325. Sunday carries a sunset moth entomology class from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a scorpion habitat class from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., each at $150.
Each class price includes admission to the expo on the class day, so a seat holder needs no separate entry ticket.
The taxidermy class runs about six hours with two 30-minute breaks. One seat in that class spends the whole Saturday. Book it for the person who wants it and keep everyone else on general admission.
The moth class holds the Sunday morning. A team that stays the weekend can put that class in front of a noon start on the floor.
Parking sells separately
The venue sells parking as its own product at $10 online in advance and $12 at the gate. The product for this show is listed as "Oddities & Curiosities - November 2026", dated November 21 to 22, with the instruction "Good for one time parking. Enter through HWY 301 entrance."
One scan spends the pass. A vehicle that leaves the grounds and comes back needs a second pass. Book one vehicle for the team.
Three venue rules sit on that page. Parking does not include event entry, each pass covers one parking entry, and all sales are final. The venue states that convenience fees sit inside the listed price, under the FTC junk-fee rule.
The weekend carries three events
Markets for Makers runs the same two days in the Special Events Center, entered from MLK Blvd at Gate 3. The UDJC Tampa Show runs November 20 to 22 at the Equestrian Rings, entered from Orient Rd at Gate 4, with free spectator admission.
Three shows use three gates on one road system. A 9:30 a.m. arrival puts the team through the Gate 1 scan before the 10 a.m. ticket line.
Rooms across the street
The fairgrounds lists seven hotel partners with one distance field each and no published rate. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds Casino sits 0.2 miles out, directly across the street. Wyndham Garden Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino sits at 1.5 miles, Staybridge Suites Tampa East-Brandon at 2.7, Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East Brandon at 2.8, Courtyard Tampa Brandon at 4.4, Cambria Hotel Tampa-Brandon at 5 and Hampton Inn & Suites at 5.0.
Ask each property for a rate and a cut-off date in writing. The fairgrounds page lists neither for any of the seven.
bookMyTeam cannot process hotel booking requests from or for Florida residents. The seller-of-travel page, last updated October 21, 2026, records Florida as not currently registered under Chapter 559, Florida Statutes. Questions go to compliance@hotelhuddle.com.
The fairgrounds also runs event camping for area events other than the annual Florida State Fair, on 48 hours notice and payment online. No nightly rate appears on the page.
Build the two days
Book the tickets before Friday November 20. Prepay one parking pass at $10. Take the class as a single seat. Put the team across the street at the Holiday Inn Express.
Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the floor, and sideshow performers take the stage through the day. Sunday opens at 10 a.m., and the market next door opens at 11 a.m. from the MLK Blvd gate.
