The Labor Law & Labor Arbitration Conference runs at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S Franklin St, on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 January 2027. The City of Tampa event record reads 7am Wednesday to 5pm Thursday.
The Labor Arbitration Institute runs the program. The institute now sits inside the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution at Cornell University's ILR School. Its conference list carries Tampa on 27-28 January under "Conferences Coming Soon" with a notify-me link. No 2027 fee is published.
A Tuesday arrival for a Wednesday door
A 7am door makes Tuesday 26 January the arrival night. Two nights, Tuesday and Wednesday, cover both conference days. The 5pm Thursday close leaves the evening open for a flight home.
A team that lands on Wednesday morning works against the opening time the venue publishes.
Three events under one roof on the Thursday
The venue calendar runs three events at the convention center that week. The Military Additive Manufacturing Summit holds the West Hall, meeting rooms and ballrooms from Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 January. The labor conference runs Wednesday and Thursday. The Tampa Veterans Job Fair runs Thursday 28 January from 11am to 3pm.
The garage, the Franklin Street entrance and the Front Drive drop-off serve all three. A planner who builds the arrival around the Wednesday start alone plans against a busier Thursday than that start suggests.
The garage across from the main entrance
The venue entrance page places the Franklin Street main entrance across the street from the Convention Center garage. The garage sits at 141 E Brorein Street and holds 454 spaces, 11 of them ADA, with two electric vehicle chargers.
The published event rate runs $5.00 to $50.00, subject to the event. The non-event rate is $3 for the first hour and $3 for every hour after, with an $18 daily maximum. Maximum vehicle height is 6 feet 6 inches. The venue states that long-term parking is available at Pam Iorio and Fort Brooke.
No page quotes an event rate for 27 January. The figure is set per event. Ask the garage for the posted rate before you commit.
Where the car spends the night
Fort Brooke Garage at 107 N Franklin Street holds 556 hourly spaces and clears 6 feet 8 inches. It carries the same $5.00 to $50.00 event band and the same $3 hourly rate with an $18 daily maximum. Visitor hourly parking runs overnight up to 6:00am.
Fort Brooke to 333 S Franklin Street measures 0.3 miles, about 6 minutes on foot.
Pam Iorio Garage at 301 Channelside Drive holds 790 spaces, 41 of them ADA, with two EV chargers. It carries the same rates and the same overnight rule. The walk to the convention center measures 0.14 miles, about 3 minutes.
Front Drive at 333 S Franklin Street holds 36 metered spaces at $4 an hour, open 8:00am to midnight. Overnight parking is not allowed there.
Two conference days inside the event band total between $10.00 and $100.00. The hourly route caps at $18 a day, or $36 across two days.
The rooms inside walking distance
The convention center publishes its property distances. Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center at 513 S Florida Ave connects by sky bridge. Tampa Marriott Water Street at 700 S Florida Ave sits 0.2 miles out, and JW Marriott Tampa Water Street at 505 Water Street matches it at 0.2 miles. The Westin Tampa Waterside at 725 S Harbour Island Blvd sits 0.3 miles.
The Tampa EDITION at 500 Channelside Drive, Hilton Tampa Downtown at 211 N Tampa Street and Hyatt Place/Hyatt House at 325 N Florida Ave sit 0.5 miles.
A 7am door puts the sky-bridge property and the two 0.2-mile hotels at the top of the call list.
What the block should ask for
bookMyTeam publishes group savings of 15% to 40% off rack rates and sends one request to 50+ hotels in the destination. Hotels reply in 24 to 72 hours. You pay the hotel directly, with no markup.
Ten rooms for two nights is 20 room-nights. The conference publishes no rate for Tampa, so the nightly figure is a planner input. The group rate calculator runs the comparison across properties.
The institute's cancellation terms belong in the same call as the parking plan. A cancellation at least two weeks before the conference is refunded in full. A cancellation inside 14 days carries a $50 fee. Substitutions are accepted at any time.
Ask each property for the Tuesday rate apart from the Wednesday rate, and whether the rate holds across the Thursday night. Send the dates through the bookMyTeam RFP.
