Ten Days of Fixed-Price Menus
Fall SF Restaurant Week runs Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 25, 2026. The Golden Gate Restaurant Association produces it. The association was founded in 1936, and it works as a San Francisco 501(c)6 non-profit whose members include many smaller independent restaurants.
Each participating restaurant publishes a prix-fixe menu at one of ten price points. A brunch or lunch menu with two or more items sells at $15, $25, $35 or $45. A dinner menu with three or more items sells at $30, $45, $60, $75 or $90.
What the $15 Menu Holds
Two items is the floor for brunch and lunch, and three for dinner. The organiser requires the SF Restaurant Week logo on the menu, and it asks restaurants to run the menu across the ten days inside their own operating days and hours.
Service types cover outdoor dining, indoor dining, takeout and delivery. A kitchen may publish a lunch menu and a dinner menu at the same time.
Ten Days, Two Weekends
The programme opens Friday, October 16 and closes Sunday, October 25. A team on a Monday-to-Friday week gets five working days inside the window, October 19 through October 23. The two weekends are October 17-18 and October 24-25.
No Platform Is Required
The organiser answers the reservation question on its Fall 2026 restaurant FAQ: "No. SF Restaurant Week is open to any restaurant that wants to participate regardless of whether you use OpenTable's reservation platform."
The roster carries the same point. Of 177 entries, 122 carry a Book a Table link that opens OpenTable, and 55 carry no OpenTable link. Those 55 route to the venue's own site or to another booking service.
A booker can put a table request to the kitchen direct. Build it on what the roster publishes: the price point, the neighbourhood and the service type.
What to Confirm for a Midday Table
Menus run inside each restaurant's own opening hours, so the clock decides the booking. Confirm the window the $15 menu runs and whether the kitchen serves lunch at the hour the team eats.
The organiser asks for consistent pricing across the ten days, and it tells a kitchen that skips weekends to call all of its weekend reservation holders. Ask whether the menu runs on the team's date.
Ask how many covers a restaurant will seat on one table. Ask for the deposit, the minimum spend and the cancellation window. A party of ten sits as one table or two, and the answer sets the room the restaurant holds.
Six Kitchens at $15
Ninety-seven of the 177 entries publish a brunch or lunch menu. Six publish a $15 brunch or lunch: Café Melange, Cinderella Bakery & Cafe Balboa, Cinderella Bakery & Cafe Mission, Creative Ideas Cafe, Gumbo Social and Hardwood Bar & Smokery. None of the six carries a booking control on the roster, so the ask is a call or the venue's own form.
Rooms for the Same Trip
A ten-day lunch programme sits inside a team trip. The bookMyTeam San Francisco directory lists 562 hotels with street addresses. A request goes in at bookmyteam.org/rfp/submit at no charge, hotels bid for the group, and the team pays the property direct.
bookMyTeam publishes group savings of 15 to 40 percent below rack rates. Its group rate calculator opens at a default 10 percent and states that the platform often secures 15 to 30 percent. It publishes that most hotels set a group rate at 10 or more rooms a night, and that some discount from as few as 5 rooms by season and availability. One request reaches 50 or more hotels, and responses arrive in 24 to 72 hours.
Put the Questions in the Request
Which hour the $15 menu runs, and whether the kitchen serves it on the team's day. How many covers one table holds, and the deposit and cancellation terms. On the room side, the nightly rate, the cancellation window and the block cut-off on each bid.
Confirm the restaurant sits on the Fall roster before the request goes out. The association's About page links the current list as the Spring 2026 participants and states the Fall 2026 list would be available October 2. Programme questions go to ggra@ggra.org.
