A meeting with a published price ladder

The USA Track & Field Annual Meeting runs December 3 to 6, 2026 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, Portland. USATF publishes an 8:00 a.m. start and a 5:00 p.m. close for each of the four days.

Registration carries two prices. USATF charges $385 per person before November 4 at 2:59 a.m. ET, and $435 per person from 3:00 a.m. ET that morning. Twelve delegates pay $4,620 on the early price and $5,220 on the late one. The gap is $600 for an invoice that clears a few hours late.

USATF accepts no in-person registration. A delegate arriving before 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday December 5 may still complete registration online.

The programme sets the room nights

The opening session starts Thursday at 5:00 p.m. The Officials Hall of Fame Banquet runs Friday at 6:00 p.m. and costs $80 a seat. The Awards Breakfast opens Saturday at 6:30 a.m. Night of Legends runs Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and costs $50. The closing session starts Sunday at 8:00 a.m.

A team that wants the full meeting arrives Wednesday December 2 and checks out Sunday December 6. That is four nights and twelve rooms a night for twelve delegates. The room count clears the ten-room group threshold bookMyTeam publishes.

The two evening tickets add $130 a head. Twelve banquet seats cost $960. Twelve Night of Legends seats cost $600.

Two airfare routes with two windows

USATF publishes a Delta meeting code and a Southwest fare through SWABIZ. The Delta code is NY575. USATF states on the same page that the code does not reduce Delta Main Basic tickets, so the discount attaches to the higher fare classes.

The Southwest fare books through the SWABIZ link on USATF's airline page and covers travel from November 29 to December 9, 2026. The window opens four days before the first session and closes three days after the close. Southwest credits Rapid Rewards bonus points on the booking.

A Sunday December 6 departure and a Wednesday December 9 return both sit inside the Southwest window.

MAX from the airport

Every registered attendee receives an unlimited MAX Light Rail pass at registration. The pass runs December 3 to 7. It covers the four meeting days and the Monday morning after the close.

TriMet charges a standard adult $2.80 for a 2.5-hour ticket and caps an adult day at $5.60. Two tickets reach that cap. Ten delegates riding both ways cost $56 for the day.

The Red line runs from Portland International Airport to the Convention Center in about 30 minutes, and trains arrive every 15 to 20 minutes.

The venue sits eight miles from PDX. MAX stops 300 times a day at the building. The Portland Streetcar A Loop reaches the NE MLK and Hoyt stop every 15 minutes, and TriMet bus line 6 stops at NE MLK and Holladay.

Parking the car you do bring

The underground garage charges $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges. During events the gate charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry. Four days of parking cost $60 at the base rate and $100 at the ceiling.

The garage holds 800 spaces and generally opens at 6:00 a.m. It takes no RVs, campers or trucks with trailers. Overnight parking is prohibited, and the booths are cashless.

Clearance is 7 feet on P1 off NE Lloyd Boulevard and 9 feet on P2 off NE First Avenue. A team van taller than seven feet uses the P2 entrance. OCC states the garage can reach capacity on busy days and does not guarantee a space.

Two properties named, no rate published

USATF secured discounted room blocks at the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Convention Center and the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland. The booking link arrives on the registration confirmation email, and USATF requires that link for the discount. USATF publishes no property rate.

bookMyTeam lists 278 hotels in Portland and sends a request to 50 or more properties. Hotels reply in 24 to 72 hours. The platform publishes a 15 to 40 percent saving against rack rates, charges no markup, and reports 103,857 hotels across 46 states. bookMyTeam takes requests from ten rooms a night.

Send the request with the four nights, the twelve rooms, the bed mix and the checkout time. Ask each property to quote a rate that holds across all four nights.

The building is booked either side of the meeting

The Oregon Convention Center calendar books the Oregon Ballroom from November 29 to December 7. Setup and teardown fill the four days before the first session and the day after the close.

Three other bookings share that week. A Marquis, Consonus and AgeRight employee holiday party takes the Portland Ballroom on December 4. The American Northwest Portland Nationals DI/DII tournament holds Hall D on December 5 and 6. The Oregon Business Plan Leadership Summit takes the Portland Ballroom on December 7.

A Saturday hotel lobby and a Sunday morning departure share the district with a two-day tournament. A request sent now leaves six weeks before the December 2 check-in.

Submit the request with the dates and the room count, or run the numbers first on the group rate calculator.
