A Roofing Conference With a Three-Day Window

Win the Storm 2026 runs October 28 to 30 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 650 S Griffin Street, Dallas, Texas 75202. The venue assigns the conference to Exhibit Hall C and C Ballroom, and lists Ballroom C1 through C4 and the C100 meeting rooms as event locations. The organiser publishes 140+ vendors, 60+ breakouts, panels and mainstage sessions, and more than 120 speakers. Ed Mylett is the keynote.

Four people from one contracting company split the three days between the expo floor and the breakout rooms. That split sets the travel shape: the crew lands Tuesday or Wednesday morning, works three days, and flies home Friday night or Saturday.

Two Carrier Codes, Two Booking Routes

Win the Storm publishes two airline offers on its travel page. Southwest books through SWABIZ with company ID SPCIDXX99410312. The Southwest discount is valid for travel October 25 to October 31, 2026. Delta books through Conferences and Events at 1.800.328.1111, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern, quoting meeting event code NM4K7. Delta states there is no service fee on reservations booked and ticketed through that 800 number.

Both windows bracket the show. Southwest opens three days before the first session and closes the day after the last one. A crew that flies in Monday October 26 and returns Saturday October 31 books inside both windows.

Four Seats, Priced Two Ways

Neither carrier publishes the discounted fare. Price the same city pair and the same dates through each code, then compare landed totals with bags included.

Use $420 round trip per seat as the working fare for a Dallas city pair with one checked bag. Four seats at that rate come to $1,680. The codes exist to move that number down, and the amount depends on the city pair, so the live quote is the number that belongs in the budget.

Parking at the Hall: 1,200 Spots at $20, 170 at $17

The venue publishes two on-site options, both operated by ACE Parking and both first-come, first-served. The garage sits at the intersection of Memorial Drive and South Griffin Street, holds 1,200 cars across two levels, and charges $20 per day per entry. Lot C sits at 502 South Lamar Street, holds 170 cars, and charges $17 per day per entry. Both price per entry with no in-and-out.

Three show days cost $60 per vehicle in the garage and $51 per vehicle in Lot C. Two vehicles for the four-person crew run $120 or $102 across the run.

The no-in-and-out rule decides how the crew moves. A car that leaves the garage for a supplier dinner pays again on the way back. Keep one vehicle parked for the full day and walk or take a DART train for the evening.

Lot C’s 170 spaces carry the timing risk. The garage absorbs a morning arrival. A 170-space lot fills first on the mornings when the expo floor opens early.

Hotel: A Block That Opens a Night Early

Win the Storm routes hotel bookings through aRes Travel. The block listing runs October 27 to October 31, 2026 and carries a live-assistance line at 877-545-3263. The block page loads inventory and rates for the dates entered and publishes no rate of its own, so the crew’s figure comes from the property quote.

The block window is the useful part. It opens the night before the first session and closes the night of the last one, which is four nights for a four-person crew. Two rooms with two beds each price as eight room-nights across that window.

Take $189 a night as the working rate. Two rooms for four nights cost $1,512. The bookMyTeam Dallas directory lists 790 hotels, and the group rate calculator states that bookMyTeam regularly secures 15 to 30 percent off standard rates. That band is the lever once a property quotes, and the rate request puts four rooms in front of competing properties in one pass.

The Line-by-Line Total

Air: four seats at the working $420 fare, $1,680. Parking: two vehicles for three days in the garage, $120, or $102 in Lot C. Hotel: two rooms for four nights at the working $189 rate, $1,512. Total $3,312, or $828 per person, before tickets.

Tickets sit on top. The organiser’s ticket page prints no price, and the two airline codes cover travel only. Ask the organiser for the current delegate tier before the crew commits.

Booking Order for This Crew

Price the Delta code on the 800 line during weekday hours. Price Southwest on the same dates with the SWABIZ ID. Take the block quote for two rooms across October 27 to 31, and push for the group band through the calculator before signing. Reserve the garage for Wednesday to Friday, and put both vehicles in the garage if the crew carries tools it will not leave in a surface lot.

One last item from the venue. The building is cashless and some exhibitors accept cash. Its ATMs sit at Level 2 A Lobby and Level 2 C Lobby. Load a card for the crew’s incidentals.
