Three Days at Moscone, January 17 to 19
Winter FancyFaire 2027 runs Sunday 17 January through Tuesday 19 January at Moscone Center, 747 Howard St, San Francisco, 94103. The Specialty Food Association publishes show hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Every hall opens at 9:30 a.m. for buyer badges, and badge pickup starts at 8 a.m. in the Moscone Center Lobby.
One Coordinator, One Block: onPeak's Group Tools
The association runs its official block with onPeak, named on its Hotel & Travel page as the only official hotel provider for 2027 Winter FancyFaire. The published benefits are pay delay, no booking, change or cancellation fees, adjustments without penalty, event support, hotel loyalty credit and group reservations.
Group booking runs inside the block. The Compass entry screen offers an Attendee category and an Exhibitor category ahead of inventory, and the portal lists Easy Group Bookings among its own benefits. onPeak's help page carries the mechanics: choose the hotel, set the check-in and check-out dates, then edit the number of rooms each night takes. The same page states that the group tools "are specifically designed to function interchangeably to efficiently manage groups of all sizes." Support runs on 855 992 3353, 312 527 7300 and fancyfood@onpeaksupport.com.
The Housing List: 15 Properties, 13 With Rooms Open
The gallery publishes 15 properties with a distance to Moscone Center. Thirteen carried a rate and a room line on 15 October 2026. The St. Regis San Francisco, $435 at 0.2 miles, and W San Francisco, $289 at 0.1 miles, carried none.
Average nightly rates on the 13 run from $169 to $299. Hotel Abri - Union Square sits at $169. Hotel Nikko San Francisco and The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square sit at $249 each, San Francisco Marriott Union Square at $253, and Grand Hyatt San Francisco, Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55 San Francisco each at $259. JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square reads $269; San Francisco Marriott Marquis and The Clancy, Autograph Collection, $279 each; Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA and InterContinental San Francisco by IHG, $289 each; Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Francisco, $299.
Eleven properties publish a cap of 20 rooms. JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square publishes 15 and San Francisco Marriott Marquis 13, which puts 248 rooms across the 13 open cards. Six of the 13 sit inside half a mile of the hall. The association dates its rate table to the night of 18 January 2027, and the gallery labels each figure an average nightly rate.
Terms That Travel With the Booking
onPeak moves reservation details into the hotel's system about two weeks before the event, and it holds inventory until the cut-off, when the property takes control. A credit card holds each reservation as a payment guarantee. Inventory sits on a first-come basis.
The Hosted Buyer Track: Meeting Rooms and the Buyers' Lounge
The association covers all of the Hosted Buyer's hotel costs and provides Uber vouchers for travel to and from the show and for evening activities. Hosted Buyers also receive complimentary registration, early exhibit hall access each day, an invitation to the Buyer Welcome Reception, dedicated meeting rooms, and The Buyers' Lounge on the show floor.
Eligibility runs by channel. Retailers, foodservice attendees and distributors qualify. Manufacturers and business service companies do not. Two contacts, Michelle McDonald and Noel Pineiro, and an application route sit on the program page. The stated goal is to encourage first-time attendees and to bring more of an established retail or distributor team's buyers to the floor.
Exhibitors Book on Their Own Route
Exhibiting companies register through the association's own exhibitor path, and the housing gallery splits the same way with its Attendee and Exhibitor categories. A coordinator booking rooms for a purchasing team can hold the lodging inside the Attendee block and leave each exhibitor to its own registration.
Floor Time for the Whole Buying Team
Friday 15 January carries badge pickup, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday 16 January carries the Food Export Buyers Mission, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Maker Prep Day 1, 1 to 4 p.m., both with pre-registration. The Buyer Welcome Reception runs 5 to 7 p.m. that day by invitation.

What to Put in the Rate Request
bookMyTeam publishes a second route for a team that misses a cut-off: 103,857+ hotels across 46 states, a request reaching 50+ hotels in the destination, responses inside 24 to 72 hours, $0 markup with payment made to the hotel, and 562 hotels on its San Francisco directory page.
The platform publishes group rates at most hotels for 10 or more rooms per night, with some hotels discounting from as few as 5 rooms depending on season and availability. Its published saving band is 15 to 40 percent below rack rates, and its calculator carries a 10 percent default against a note of 15 to 30 percent off standard rates.
Eight travellers in single rooms across the three show nights make 24 room-nights. At the block's $169 rate the room line is $4,056; at $249 it is $5,976, a spread of $1,920. Submit through the bookMyTeam RFP form, or model the discount in the group rate calculator.
