Work Truck Week 2027 runs March 9-12 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. NTEA spreads that span across two venues and four working days. A room block holds its shape when the arrival date is fixed before the request goes out.
The 2027 Schedule, Day By Day
Tuesday, March 9 is Future Truck Summit, the technology conference that opens the week. It replaces Green Truck Summit and moves to the JW Marriott Indianapolis, the day before the exhibit hall opens. NTEA develops the program with NAFA Fleet Management Association.
The educational program runs March 9-11. The Work Truck Week Ride & Drive runs March 10-11. The Work Truck Show exhibit hall is open March 10-12. NTEA expects more than 500 exhibiting companies.
The NTEA Annual Meeting lands on Thursday, March 11, 2027. Breakfast is served ahead of the keynote from mountaineer Ed Viesturs and the association business. Tickets go on sale when registration opens this fall. NTEA members receive discounted registration fees on the rest of the program.
Fix The Days That Matter
A delegate attending only Future Truck Summit needs Monday night in Indianapolis. A team working the exhibit hall needs Tuesday through Friday. A crew on the Ride & Drive needs Wednesday and Thursday. Each answer resizes the block.
The 2026 edition is the sizing reference. NTEA reported a verified 15,646 commercial vehicle industry professionals from 29 countries and all 50 U.S. states at Work Truck Week 2026, which ran March 10-13, 2026, with 547 exhibiting companies in a sold-out hall. The venue lists Work Truck Week on its own calendar for March 10-12, 2027 with a forecast attendance of 14,000.
One Arrival Date Keeps The Group Together
Staggered arrivals fragment a block. When four people fly in Monday and six arrive Wednesday, the property splits the inventory, and held meeting space can go with it. Set one arrival date and one departure date for the whole team, then let the daily headcount vary inside the block.
A team of 20 in double rooms needs 10 rooms a night. That is 30 room nights across a Tuesday-to-Friday stay and 40 across a Monday-to-Friday stay. Ask the property for the last date to add rooms and the rate that applies after it, because every arrival booked outside the block is quoted on its own.
What The Venue Publishes

The venue counts 7,100 hotel rooms downtown, 4,700 rooms connected to the Convention Center by skywalk, 200 restaurants within walking distance and 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport. The skywalk figure is the one that matters in March.
On the ground, Denison Parking operates all Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium lots. The venue puts more than 70,000 parking spaces downtown and publishes a reserve-and-pre-pay route for its own lots, which is the cleanest answer for a fleet bringing trucks and trailers.

NTEA opens registration and housing in the fall of 2026. On Oct. 6, 2026, worktruckweek.com published no housing provider and no nightly rate for the week, only a sign-up for the notification. A fleet team can run its own request while the official housing is closed.

Four asks belong in the request: truck and trailer parking with a place to store gear, meeting space on the same contract as the rooms, a breakfast start before the first session, and the last date to trim the block.
Dates For The Next Three Years
NTEA publishes the March dates through 2030: March 7-10, 2028, March 6-9, 2029 and March 5-8, 2030. Indianapolis is the host city for all of them, which gives a fleet a repeating window to negotiate against.
