The WWETT Show at the Indiana Convention Center

The WWETT Show, the Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show, runs February 22 to 25, 2027 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 S. Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46225. The organiser calls it the world’s largest annual trade show for wastewater and environmental service professionals. The venue forecasts 14,000 attendees. The organiser publishes 14,000+ industry professionals, 550+ suppliers, 20+ industries and 44+ countries represented, across more than 315,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Two timetables run inside those four days. Conference programming opens Monday, February 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., then Tuesday 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The expo hall runs Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and it closes Thursday at 1:00 p.m. A floor-only crew needs two nights. A crew that sends technicians for continuing education needs three, and a crew that opens the conference on Monday needs a Sunday arrival.

Trade-only entry: every badge is a paid registration

The show is a trade event. Only professionals from the industry are admitted, and anyone 18 or over must register and pay to receive a badge. Visitors aged 17 and under are admitted only with parental supervision during normal show hours.

Registration for WWETT 2027 opens in the fall of 2026. Until then the attendee updates list notifies subscribers when registration opens. Registration questions go to registration@wwettshow.com or 866-860-1970.

Registering a whole crew in one transaction

The registration flow lets one person register several colleagues before the payment screen. An “Add Another Registrant” button adds each subsequent attendee, with a different ticket combination if the crew is split between floor-only and conference badges, and the party completes on one credit card transaction. Each registrant needs a unique email address.

That requirement carries weight. The confirmation email holds the barcode a crew member scans to print a badge, and the same address receives the certificates and session handouts. Conference classes are chosen during registration, and changes afterwards run through the Registration Resource Center using the confirmation number printed under the barcode.

Where the badges are, and where they are not

Badges are not mailed. Crews collect them on site at the Main Registration area counters in meeting rooms 101-106, or at the Hall C Main Entrance. The counter process is scan the barcode, print the badge, collect the lanyard. Anyone attending classroom sessions must check in for the badge first. Print one confirmation per person before travelling, because the counter reads the barcode.

Four nights: Sunday arrival to Thursday departure

Monday’s conference session opens at 9:00 a.m., so a crew flying in on Monday morning is betting against the airline. The four-night stay is check in Sunday, February 21, work the conference Monday, walk the floor Tuesday and Wednesday, and leave Thursday after the 1:00 p.m. close. Three nights suits a floor-only crew arriving Monday.

Downtown holds 7,100 hotel rooms, with 4,700 connected to the Convention Center by skywalk, and the venue puts Indianapolis International Airport 15 minutes away. All ground-floor entrances and the second-floor hotel skywalks are accessible by wheelchair, scooter or elevator.

The official block: 23 hotels with published rates

onPeak is the show’s official hotel partner and, the organiser states, the only hotel agent endorsed by the WWETT Show. Its booking system publishes 23 properties with average nightly rates and distances to the Convention Center. The range runs from $169 at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Indianapolis Dtn-Conv Ctr, 0.5 miles out, to $270 at the Conrad Indianapolis, 0.2 miles out. Twenty of the 23 sit within half a mile of the hall.

A four-person crew in two doubles at the block floor pays $1,352 for four nights, or $338 a head. The same crew at the block ceiling pays $2,160, or $540 a head. That $808 gap on eight room-nights doubles to $1,616 across the 16 room-nights an eight-person crew needs, so the $101 spread between the block’s cheapest and dearest property is the largest lever on the trip.

Booking the rooms

onPeak advertises no upfront costs, no change or cancellation fees, and group reservation tools, and it says its rates typically average 30% below what other travel sites show. Contact is (800) 724-0968, international (312) 527-7300, or WWETThotels@onpeaksupport.com. The organiser warns that agencies have contacted exhibitors and attendees claiming to book for the show, and that reservations made through an unauthorised agency cannot be guaranteed.

A firm can price the block against a group request before choosing. bookMyTeam publishes group rates from a block of 10 or more rooms per night, with some hotels discounting from as few as five depending on season and availability, against a published band of 15-40% below rack rates. A request reaches 50+ hotels per destination, replies typically arrive in 24-72 hours, and the platform adds no fee to the rate. Hotels pay bookMyTeam a commission when a booking completes.

A four- to eight-room crew sits under the 10-room threshold, so the request route carries that booking rather than a block. Start with the team rate request, check the figure on the group rate calculator, and read how it works.

What no source publishes

Four details decide whether a crew sleeps well and starts on time, and none is published for these properties: the bed configuration behind each room type, the breakfast opening hour against an 8:30 a.m. session, whether a van or trailer can park, and whether the block can hold the crew on one floor. Put all four into the request, and confirm the rate at booking, because block rates and inventory move between now and February.
