Five names, fifty dollars each
The ZERO TO THREE LEARN Conference 2026 runs October 27 to 29 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Portland. The organiser confirms the dates and address on its FAQ and publishes the group terms on a separate page.
Groups of five or more take $50 off each registration. A group of five to nine gets the discount at checkout, and a group of ten or more, or any group that needs an invoice or purchase order, registers through a form. Five seats on the group rate cost $250 less than five separate bookings.
Which price tier a team lands in
Two tiers have closed. Standard runs August 3 to October 26 at $550 for members and $650 for non-members. Onsite runs October 27 to 29 at $580 and $680.
Today the team sits in Standard. Five non-members on the group rate cost $3,000, against $3,250 at the full standard rate and $3,400 onsite. Five members cost $2,500 on the group rate and $2,900 onsite.
Standard closes October 26, the day before the conference opens. Space is capped at 2,500. Sessions seat delegates first come, first seated, and a personal agenda in the Whova app holds no seat.
The Tuesday that sets the room nights
Pre-conference programming runs Tuesday, October 27 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The registration desk opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 6:30 PM, with a gap from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. An all-attendee screening runs 4:00 to 5:30 PM and the opening reception 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
Wednesday opens with coffee at 7:30 and the opening plenary at 9:00, runs three concurrent blocks and a research plenary, and closes at 5:00 PM. Thursday repeats the shape, closes with a keynote and adjourns at 5:00 PM.
An 8:30 AM Tuesday start needs a Monday night in the city. Three nights, Monday October 26 to Thursday October 29, covers the programme. A Thursday night adds a fourth for a Friday flight home.
The $245 forums, and what the fee includes
Pre-conference forums cost $245 for the day and are bought as an add-on on page two of registration. The fee includes a networking lunch and 0.5 CEUs, or five contact hours. Three forums run, and a HealthySteps Symposium runs 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM the same day for HealthySteps affiliates only.
Five seats across conference and forum costs $4,225 for non-members on the group rate, against $3,000 for the conference alone. The forum day adds a night to the room count as well.
Meals need a line of their own. The organiser provides coffee and light refreshments only, and lunch is on your own each conference day.
The $75 fee and a refund window that closed on September 15
Every cancellation carries a $75 transaction fee, and no refund requests are processed after September 15, 2026. That date has passed. Transfer is the live lever: a registration moves to another person at any time at no stated charge, with the substitute's name, phone and email sent to the registration desk.
A $75 fee is 30.6% of a $245 forum day. A team that cancels a forum seat today recovers nothing on the fee and nothing on the seat, so fix the substitution route before anyone books a flight.
Where the team sleeps now that the block is gone
ZERO TO THREE states that its hotel blocks are no longer available. The organiser lists properties for convenience and holds no reserved rooms and no negotiated rate at any of them.
The walking set is short. Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center, 435 NE Wasco Street, sits 0.3 miles and a 7-minute walk out on (503) 234-3200. Crowne Plaza Portland-Downtown Convention Center, 1441 NE 2nd Avenue, sits 0.4 miles and 9 minutes out. The organiser prints (503) 233-2401 against both properties, so take the Crowne Plaza number from the hotel. Jupiter NEXT, 900 E Burnside Street, sits 0.6 miles and 12 minutes out on (503) 230-9200.
Kimpton Hotel Vintage and Hampton Inn & Suites Portland-Pearl District both sit 1.3 miles out. Moxy Portland Downtown sits 1.5 miles out.
The organiser also warns about third-party companies calling attendees with hotel offers.
Parking, MAX and the airport
The garage charges $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and $15 to $25 at entry on event days. It holds 800 spaces, opens at 6:00 AM and runs cashless. Three days runs $45 to $75 a vehicle, and MAX stops 300 times a day at the doors.
The organiser lists Portland International Airport at 10 miles and 14 minutes out. The venue publishes 8 miles.
Send the room request early. The venue calendar holds ZERO TO THREE in Hall A for October 28 and 29, Functional Fabric Fair in Pre-Function Lobby D for October 27 and 28, and CANVAS 2026 across Halls A1-B-C from October 30 to November 4.
The internal approval pack
The organiser publishes a Request for Funding Template for the approval conversation. Attach the group discount, the October 26 tier deadline, the $245 forum line and the three-night room estimate.
bookMyTeam runs the room side free, defines a group rate as a block of 10 or more rooms, and sends one request to 50+ hotels per destination. Hotels respond in 24 to 72 hours. The Portland directory lists 278 properties, the RFP form carries one request to those hotels, and the group rate calculator prices the nights before the funding request goes up the chain.
